Reading Away Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's a strange feeling at the moment. I still want us to win, but just ain't looking forward to it. Incomprehensible tactics, forwards who don't look like scoring, schoolboy defending, predictable substitutions, sideways, back, sideways, back, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. The whole club needs restructuring from the board down to the coaches and physios, but most importantly a blind, patronising, embarrassing fool of a manager! Thanks for 1997 to 2006, but get out now!

Spot on tux , we will struggle to score without the useless Giroud or Walcott . As for that embarrassing krunt (thanks DB10) , he has to go .

West Brom are playing the Hammers - draw
Everton a tough old trip to Stoke - draw
Spurs playing Swansea - draw

We fluke a win at Reading and we'll be in the Virtual Trophy spot on goal difference

I will then guarantee that all this talk about Bradford will be forgotten, There's Only One Arsene Wenger will be ringing out, and Tuesday's Barclay's Account column in the Evening Standard will be demanding that our Lord and Master is given a new contract and that we've all been proven wrong

The garden will almost be in full bloom

I've read every post and reply, and I must honestly say, you lot are the saddest bunch of supporters I've ever come across. Sadly, I'm not here to rant against your melancholy.. matter of fact it's understandable, pretty much the only rational conclusions people who don't have their heads up their arse would have.

Forget Reading V Arsenal, I'd bet my first born on the results, lets get this shite over with now and slap that French bastard in the face! Might as well slap, hell even better, amputate GirSHIT and GerSHIT, cause GOD ONLY KNOWS!! how important they will be for us this weekend :banghead:

Who's sad, ok Augie  I grant you that, then there's Donaldo but after that..... ok and rodders, well yes and sid and N1goon but after that? ok ok StevO but after that I'm struggling, Rob Admin maybe, Clockender1, 1989, falkirkgoon, AFCasap, Teecee, chippy, thomamitchel, northbank.......but I can't see many more beyond that.

Just look at the list of HAPPY ones.....HighburyJD, ...........you know what, the level of your intuition is scary

This will probably be a 0-0 draw after so many goals in the cup match, though with both teams defences this is very unlikely.

I don't think I can wait until next Summer for the big Arsene love-in celebration round at mine

I was thinking of an "There's Only One Arsene Wenger" Christmas Party, if we're in the Virtual Trophy places by the time we've played Reading and Wigan.

Anyone fancy it? Rodders, augie, sid, falkirk goon, N1 Goon, Arsenal till I die, surely I can count on you boys to pop round and share some 'very good spirit' and raise a glass to our great leader at this festive time

Does anyone know of any pubs which would be ok for both home and away fans?
I am travelling down and leaving the car at my friends who is a Reading ST holder who lives near Kenner Island.

Just wanting to find somewhere we can go for a couple of drinks before the game.
