Is it too early?

Is it too early?

Post by RaM »

Too early to say our chance at winning the league is gone?

Six off the lead, third place. Draws in matches we should be winning.

Wenger isn't stupid, he won't jeopardise our shot at the Champion's League for a league we probably won't win.

If it all turns around and we do it, I'll happily have someone direct me to this and I will laugh at every one of my desperate words.

Well, its after five in the morning, and I am in desperate need of sleep. Perhaps I'll wake up later today and find out it was all a nightmare. Maybe its January and all is going well, Wenger's about to announce some new signings, and the treble is still on offer....

Goodnight!

Ofcourse our chance isn't gone!

It doesn't look good, but we still have a chance.

Matt for the love of jesus come back down into the real world man. Truth be told we had blown our chances before today but if you think that we still are in with a chance after todays defeat then you need therapy

Not this season...I for one will be very surpirsed. We've bottled it at the worst possible time and we haven't won in the league since Blackburn at home (how long ago does that seem!)

The Mancs need to start dropping points and Chelsea need to do the same and we need to win pretty much every game...can't really see that happening to be honest.

So annoying because after we beat Everton away in December I really was convinced we'd win the league this season.

No win in 5 games - that's relegation form at this time of the season!

Forget the PL, Wenger should pool our rsourcs into the 4 games that wil take us to the CL final.

Prioritise the Champions League.

The league is gone.

The players seem well up for it in Europe.

I think its fair to say, no matter how well we play from here on, the mancs have to blow it like we did for us to have any chance whatsoever.

As most say, the league has gone. If we were just chasing United, it might just still be possible but having Chelsea ahead of us now as well means, realistically, there's no chance.

Truth be told, United are worthy Champions, they're much better than they were last season and have looked the best team since mid December. They've been consistent when we've throwing points away.

None of us expected to have anything like this season last summer but it still feels like a missed opportunity. I hope this team fulfils all of Wenger's predictions but it's clear that we should have spent some money and ensured we signed at least one of Ribery, Torres and (in January) Anelka. That may have enabled us to win most of the 11 points lost in the last five games.

But, as others have said, let's all focus on the CL - Moscow here we come!

4 points out of 15 is shit form. We blew the title weeks ago. The problem is we dont have a matchwinner like Man Utd have in Ronaldo.A player who can win a game on there own when the game is really tight(Like Thierry used to).We are like a car that has run out of petrol. As has been said a million times before the squad is not strong enough and unless Arsene goes out and spends some of the money the fans are paying into the new stadium we will be in the same position next season. Because both Chelsea and Man Utd will be splashing the cash again in the summer.
