Why is Jenkinson getting a new deal? He'll undoubtedly be on good money considering his age and experience, it's not like Barca and Madrid are sniffing around the kid. I really like him and he's done well this year but he's comfortably our second choice right-back.

As for Ramsey, this will be something like his 4th contract in 5 seasons. Outrageous how we can do that yet let Sagna and Walcott's deals run down.

You do have to wonder who is deciding on these contracts cos upgrading squad players contracts (I'm trying to be nice this morning ) makes absolutely zero sense if you are allowing sagna's contract to run down. I don't closely follow contract renewals but if Ramsey has got even 2 new deals since signing his initial contract then something is horrifically wrong although I suppose we already knew that
