Wenger Out Banner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Good effort, needs to be shown pre Kick Off as well.

Apologies if it was and I just didn't see it, I was about 10 rows infront of you there actually.

Well done, lads. 8) Good to show it after a win too - less likely to get unintelligent mong comments about "knee jerk reactions" etc.

But seriously, get rid of the flat cap.

If you want to get support in the major media for your 'mission' then you really need to give it a little more thought.

I, of course, believe that those involved would seem to be trying to score points amongst their peers but surely that's preaching to the converted? How can folk be so daft as to show it at this game (on the assumption, that is, that I'm right in saying it was shown after the game?? apologies If wrong) when Arsenal clearly showed some class this evening...

If folk seriously think their actions will change the way things are then I really need to stop right now and let you get on with it... lol timing excellent! (not)
IMO showing it after a win gives it more credibility. I suppose if we'd lost you'd be saying it was a knee jerk reaction.

Well done to those involved anyway and may we see it many more times, as long as it takes for him to go.
Thing is if any journo asks him about the banner - he will just say He didn't see it.  :banghead:

Last night was just a break from the new norm because of the quality of the opposition. Reading are to Arsenal now what Brighton were in the late 70's early 80's..a team we will beat. (Brighton did beat us in 1981 I think) . So for anyone to suggest it was wrong to display the banner last night proves that people are either missing or choosing to miss the point.
Last night wasn't the first time this season that we have produced decent football but the previous times we reverted to dross soon after. So any suggestion of corners turned etc are wide of the mark.In fact after last night's game was the ideal time to display that banner. There were glimpses of a better Arsenal , and glimpses of a calamitous Arsenal. Memories and realism on one pitch and on one banner..Sums it up really.
The banner isn't the knee jerk reaction to a few bad performances as the media will try to make it. It is a result of a long-term and growing frustration.

Walking up to the swamp with a "Spurs Boss caught Kerb Crawling T shirt on " sitting in the swamp lower tier amongst them whilst floating blow up dolls across the pitch takes some cheek !
Standing in Radplussen Square with 3000 Turks trying to stab you takes a wee bit of Bottle !
Smashing the ice cream firm from Plaistow to the Bowlyne ,that takes nerve !
Sticking a banner up at Reading after 95 percent of the paying public have fucked off hardly qualifies for
a bravery award does it .
Chippy keep petitioning ,u might make 500 by Christmas !
