Okay so Wilshere, The Ox, Gibbs, Jenkinson sign new contracts..Great!!! Whooo Hooo! But Ramsey!!!??? FFS!!!!!
Does wenger have no intelligence whatsoever!??...I'm really pleased to see the first four re-sign extended contracts, but surely the way Ramsey has been ....errrm ...can't really use the term 'Performing' or 'Playing'...has been running around like a headless feckin chicken trying flicks that NEVER come off on the pitch...It would be best to wait and see if he improves in any shape or form, coz at the present time he IS BAD! ..Sad but True.
good to see those four commit - but at a higher wage and signing on bonus i'd bet.
the decision to include Ramsay is laughable. i'd love to see someone in the media pin AW down and ask him exactly which performances merited the welsh denilson a pay rise ?

See the guy run in (after they've all signed) and grab Jack Wilsheres' contract first, before he can change his mind!.
^This. Desperate times for Wenger, and this sort of Moonie-esque pathetic publicity stunt proves it. You can imagine the very ‘clever’ conversations behind the scenes. "Let's show the fans Arsene is still in charge and still commands the respect of the team". Of course the easiest way to do that is to get the younger members of the squad to sign new contracts - the reality is, for most of these players it simply means a short term pay rise rather than a longer term commitment to the Club. Cue the line next, "you see, if Wenger goes these players won't hang around”! When have we heard that nonsense before?

Perhaps it was a publicity stunt, but watch this space - apparently tomorrow the next batch of players will be brought in the same room... Gervinho, Denilson, Park, Bendtner, Chamakh, Arshavin and Squillaci... and shot!
Scatter gun management from Wenger,Anyone walking into the training ground gets a contract.Ramsey has to be a joke tell me it is.The Ox has potential but £50k a week after 11 starts Gibbs is an injury waiting to happen we all know it and Jenkinson is a back up RB nothing more yet he gets a long term contract and Sagna gets a one year deal
We will be sold this as 5 new signings plus Henry, As Maggie Thatcher said Rejoice

what a joke. wilshere fine. but the others? (apart from ramsey) all good news if there current deals had les than 2 years less, otherwise wtf is happening. yet more rewards for zero acheivement. only at arsenal.
maybe gibbs had less than 2 years left, but i imagine ox and jenks signed for 5 years and we are not even half way thru the 2nd year of these deals. sure they have both shown promise and jenks has improved from hopeless to average, but do they really warrant new deals, for the so litle they have acheived when there is no danger of there contracts running out yet?
this is why our players lack hunger, fergie would never do such a thing. too much for too little on the pitch shocking decisions, only at arsenal, and just goes to show how retarded those in charge are when it comes to contracts, djorrou, roshitsky and now these.
as fro rambos new deal i cannot even begin to bring myself to comment on that, unless its a shortened contract and he can fuck off at the end of the season. honestly no better than denilson.
I'm really pleased about this, I've been saying for years that Arsenal need a British core. United, Chelsea and now City have recently dominated with a British core within their squads.
I'd also love us to sign a British League One or Two style centre back, someone who can just tackle, head and smash the ball for miles. I reckon if we can find that player he would go on to be a legend.
