Champions League Round of 16 Draw

I'm not saying it will happen but we always manage to pull out at least one good result and performance in Europe every season so hopefully that trend will continue. However we just aren't capable of beating say United then Juventus and then Barcelona.

You must be including one good performance over a two-leg tie then?

Off the top of my head beating Milan in 2008 is the only time we can claim to have turned over a top team in knockout competition full-stop since our CL run in 2006. And they were an ageing team carried by a very overrated Kaka so that's debatable.

At least we'll be able to drink some decent beer on our way out of the competition in February

We haven't got a fucking prayer in this tie.

Envious of the teams in the Thursday night cup

Cannot go to the away game because of work commitments, but I think it's a great draw. Really envious of those who will go - been to Munchen many times - just enjoy a truly brilliant city. (And the people are really nice, honest!)

We should get a ~3500 allocation. I think it will go to Reds.

well we did Dortmund 3-2 on aggregate last season technically in the group stages. I know we look pretty dodgy atm but with a morale boosting 1-0 first leg win courtesy of a walcott goal it'll look more possible (remembering barca away in 2010 when bendy scored and we were going through)
