As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I always go and get a chicken burger from Eden's on Seven sisters, there is a fish and chip shop next door which is always packed but I've no't tried, the burgers in the rocket are spot on, and cheap (£2 as to £3 everywhere else).
I still havn't tried Piebury corner although heard very good things. Also has anyone tried the hogroast, think it's on Gillespie Rd. before the KF bridge?
REB wrote:best is piebury, good quality , they have now opened a shop on the HR , hogroast is good as is the indian stall by the auld triangle.
I always think about getting a samosa from that stall when on the way to HR, do you know if piebury ever got their award back reb?
I often thought about getting a samosa from that stall and eventually did... I get one every time I walk past on way home from game now. Worth acting on that thought imo...

Chippy I was late in to Swansea, missed the the grub outside due to the march, so I thought its a great chance to sample some of Silent Stans food. There was a rectangular shaped cheese pizza with 3 delightfull doughballs on top, needless to say the doughballs were very nice, the pizza on the other hand...... Absolutley foul, it had 3 huge slices of tomato to use as puree and about 500g of cheese on. Being 100% serious I was very ill on the way home, and I don't think it was the watered down larger.
Can never understand how people can't go an hour and a half (minimum) without eating!! I would rather starve than eat the shit that's 'on offer' at our home games and pile even more money in their greedy mitts.

Never ever again.
EDIT: It also cost £5
I got some pizza once a long while ago that was frozen, the edge was hot but the middle was still frozen solid. I binned most of it and haven't got food at the stadium since.
When Chippy Jnr was a bit younger (17 now) it was just easier to get him something in the ground. Now if he was allowed he would eat pizza 3 meals a day, yet even he refused to eat it and settled for the slightly less noxious hot dog!
I go to a nice cafe down the holloway road which does a good fry up for lunch/breakfast for those of us on the road early Bloody place is usually packed though which is a good recommendation for them but often involves waiting for a seat which is a pain in the arse for me

Thats exactly like me, I broke my strike and caved in, then paid the consequence.
