Sunday 23/12 games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As you may know I have a lifelong hatred and loathing for the unwashed jacks - but today I actually thought well done williams. You filthy soap dodging caravan dwelling jack.

Utd 5 points clear, and Ferguson with a ludicrous statement. Shall he influence the media again?

I think there's potential for making a chant out of all this:

Van Persie woooah
Van Persie woooah
It hit him in the head
The *word censored* could've been dead

When the ball hits your head
And you could have been dead
It's Van Persie...

Gotta disagree with the Forum here.

Ferguson is correct, a forceful blow to the back of the head, especially with neck bent, such as Van Persie got, can kill.
Van Persie is very lucky.

Whether it was intentional I do not know.

 at Red Noses's post match interview, anyone backing up his claim, and most importantly   @ the actual incident.

It's obvious he's deflecting from the result with the busy Xmas period coming up. All the journos be talking about that and not the actual match.

  again and Well Played Ashley Williams 8)

Yep, I agree with you, it could kill. You'd have to be exceptionally unlucky for it to kill you like but it can happen. And tbh I thought it was intentional, if you're a defender in that situation you get as much height as possible, he just blasted it at Van Persie and was looking at him as he did it, cowardly twat imo

very possible to snap the neck in that situation....willams deliberately drilled the ball inches from and at rvp's head, and should of been sent off for unsportsmanlike qunt conduct

A typically cowardly jack move, scummy fuckers.

On this occasion it does have to be commended though due to the circumstances. That gif is one of my favourites of all time.
