Gareth Bale diving again

Gareth Bale diving again

Post by Deise Gooner »

Gareth Bale received his 5th booking this season for diving, no other player has more than 2. When will the FA actually stand up and take a stand against this blatant form of cheating? Bale is a disgrace, far worse than i remember Ronaldo to have been when he played in the PL.

Ronaldo was worse, but ref's just never had the balls to book him for it.

Bear in mind the season's just half way, that is pretty impressive. Dirty cheating f'ing ape. But there will be no witch hunt, no call for longer bans for him. He's not that type of boy.

Eduardo,Pires,Cazorla all the worst thing to ever happen to the English game, a cancer blah, blah xenophobic blah   :banghead:

Kicking a dead horse, but if he was foreign, there would be an inquest bordering on witch hunt.

Eduardo and Cazorla get crucified, but who talks about "Bail"?

It's the laziest thing in the world to say "at that speed, any sort of contact will bring you down". It's bollocks.

Take the one today. There was definitely contact, and more than a tiny brush (although hardly a whack). But look at the way he goes down: he immediately straightens his leg(s) out and throws his body back. Running fast doesn't make him do that, being a cheating monkey-boy wanker does.

the only ex-pro I've heard state clearly and concisely that Contact does NOT equal a foul is @StanCollymore -nobody is "entitled" to go down

This sums it up for me - I hear even non scum fans defend him on the basis of contact and speed etc but there was no way that minimal contact was anywhere near enough to justify that dive  He himself instigated the minimal leg contact and fcuk me if putting your arm across somebodies belly in enough to deserve a penno then ballet dancing is now a tougher sport   :banghead:

Dermot Gallagher on SSN said that Bale would not have gone down anywhere else on the pitch from that contact so he believed the ref was justified in giving him the yellow card.

You watch how he brushes people who try and bodycheck him when he's running on the halfway line completely aside. He's a powerful lad, people bounce off him when he's running full pelt. Yet when he's in the box the wind blowing can knock him over and any contact supposedly will take him clean off his feet?

Funny how when they're defending in the box and theres contact the defending player doesnt contort his body like hes been struck by lightening.
Hate diving, especially by our players.

Agree Bale seems to get an easy ride compared to Eduardo but cant abide diving from whatever player.
