We are overplaying it.
The passing is neat and good, but we pass it one or two times too much and have hardly any end product.

Like to see a few shots from outside the area at their shaky keeper.

It is up to the midfield to get balls to the striker, and they have not done that enough.

But credit to Southampton for closing us down.

poldi played a bad ball which started the debarkle, putting saints 4 v 2, but sagna's attempted clearance was a joke, tommy (i think) then made a great tackle but of course it fell to a sfc player cos none of ours were bothering to come back and help, meaning there was still a saints player completely unmarked to steer home from around the penalty spot.

Tommy was a fcuking spectator as that debacle unfolded in front of him - he stood as the ball went across to sagna and made no effort to get back when sagna's "clearance" went straight across our box and was nowhere to make a tackle or block when needed - oh for a TA6 or Killer Keown

yeah and some on here reckon sagna is the best right back in the world, can't cross for shit and his defending is at times "panic like fuckity"

Guilty as charged - I still believe that he is the best right full around but he has had an absolute 'mare for the last 30mins of the half

What I will say though is that the attitude from the ox is disgraceful today - he seems lazy with his passing and especially his tracking back whilst his first touch and crossing is shocking I dont give a fcuk who he is buddies with on teir team cos he is here to do a job for his team and if that puts him in too much of a personal dilemma then put someone else in his place

Todays sums up why I dont believe that walnut should be played up front - playing this cunting system with 1 up front requires different attributes that what wally brings to the table and nothing is sticking up front cos he hasnt got the physique, first touch or intelligence on how to play the lone striker and bring midfielders into play and I dont blame him for that.

If we are honest, not one of the c**ts has played well with the exception of wilshire - podolski has clearly taken the night off, our back 4 is shambolic (I hope lambert doesnt get much service in 2nd half) and arteta and santi are flitting in and out of the game

maybe it wasn't tommy then. the guy who, straight after sagna's clearance landed at the feet of the sfc player, he got in a sliding block/challenge which counted for nothing as it went to a red shirt
