That Blackburn match was on Easter Monday, but they had to get the orange ball out due to the snow!

Bergkamp was the best player on the planet in the first couple of months of that season (97-98). The hatrick at Leicester was just majestic, the third goal gets played all the time but people forget about the first one. Impeccable technique and bang in the top corner.

As soon as he got suspended we started to slump and I'll always remember being at the Blackburn home game and the stick the crowd gave the team. After that Petit and Vieira partnership really came into its own, Overmars rediscovered early season form and Bergkamp too approaching something near his. Also remember thinking Anelka was going to be unstoppable.

As a youngster it was the first time I saw us win the league, and it remains my favourite out of the 3.

After tonights debacle, what I would give for a bit of magic from Bergkamp or a bone crunching tackle from big Tony Adams.
