Re: "The window is open!" So f~c#ing what?Transfer Rumour th
He'd go somewhere shit because he loves being a big fish in a small pond. Loved being Russia's best player, loved coming in and turning our season around and when he was the Golden Boy and he'll love having a few months at a dire relegation fodder club where he can piss all over other people.
Mismanaged, lazy, unmotivated, underutilised, greedy... all of these play a part.

Arshavin will in all likelihood be the greatest mismanagement of a talented player that the world has ever seen

Nah mate Arseshavin is just crap. Thats why hes off to mighty Readingaugie wrote:armchair supporter wrote:Exactly. Its a strange one.BournemouthRED wrote:Arshavin in a relegation fight?
Arshavin will in all likelihood be the greatest mismanagement of a talented player that the world has ever seenThat boy had unbelievable talent and vision but the c**t in charge fcuked him about royally throughout his time with us - firstly he inexcusably dropped him for the fa cup semi v the chavs purely cos he couldnt play 4 days later in the champs lge (
) and then he proceeded to play the guy out of position by marooning him out on the wing
When you have a player as talented as arshavin was/is then you build your team around them and play to their strengths but our CIC made him a peripheral part of what was already a poor team crying out for a touch of class.

So he was poorly mis managed and now were supposed to feel sorry for him? The lazy *word censored* has had chances to come on and show us and the manager what he can do and he can't be fucked. He is an exceptional footballer, one of the very best at our club but he literally can't be arsed to do it!
Such a shame IMO, but this chump earns supposedly 80k a week for doing nothing, It's just mind boggling isn't it. He has the best job in the world

'if we can find the quality' is the same excuse as 'many players want to come to Arsenal"clockender1 wrote:2-0 to Swansea.
they will give us nothing and that's what we'll leave with.
we have no plans for games like this full stop.
i hear it now..."well yes, we lacked a bit of quality. the funds are there to strengthen to the team if we can find the quality, but we have Diaby to come back..."

& I see Sturridge has gone to the scousers. Liverpool like the spuds are where young England strikers careers go to die...

Should be interesting to see how this one pans out.
Sturridge has not made it at 2 top 4 clubs becausehe has a serious attitude problem and he's a big time charlie that expects to be king of the hill at every club he joins.
How is that going to work with Suarez since half the problem Carroll had last year at the mousers was every time he played with the rat faced c**t, the selfish prick wouldn't pass to him and kept trying to go it alone.
Suarez likes to be a lone striker and I can't see him being dropped/rested for Sturridge a much inferior player.

Anyone know how long Chamakh has left on his contract with us? I presume the deal will be the same as Joe Cole where Liverpool are going to make up the difference in his wages for the final 18 months he had with them. It's pretty awful business but still better than paying him the full whack for doing nothing. Djourou probably the same.

well, that is the definition of a young england striker thesedays, who was it who said recently that England Caps are too easy ?topgoon wrote: Sturridge has not made it at 2 top 4 clubs becausehe has a serious attitude problem and he's a big time charlie that expects to be king of the hill at every club he joins.
.
I agree, these players get way too much too soon - Theo too, he wanted 100k last Summer as he was "an established England " player...

I'm with Augie on this. Buy a good AM(two footed no 10) and push him out on the wingaugie wrote:Arshavin will in all likelihood be the greatest mismanagement of a talented player that the world has ever seenThat boy had unbelievable talent and vision but the c**t in charge fcuked him about royally throughout his time with us - firstly he inexcusably dropped him for the fa cup semi v the chavs purely cos he couldnt play 4 days later in the champs lge (

I feel AA23 has made his own bed, but Wenger has added to it too

....Well done Arsene. But if you actually look at positions on the pitch(not that I'm making excuses), no.10 is probably the only postion where you can have a "lazy" player. The traditional 10 didn't have to track back to make any tackles, but when going forward, we needed his "two-footed-ness" to break down opposition, which Wenger didn't feel the need to exploit

and btw, I hope I don't see him in the no10 role at Arsenal anytime soon, I would rather have Santi there.
