Swansea away pubs & parking!!

Hi all,

There are a few of us going to Swansea away by car.

I can't really find any pubs which would welcome away fans.

Does anyone know where would be best for us to park and go for pre match drinks?

Any help would be very much appreciated

No idea about parking but away pubs, within walking distance of the ground anyway, are basically non-existent. We ended up in the Harvester at the opposite end of the stadium to where the away section is.

One of the worst away days out, this one.

At least if its a Harvester I've got half a chance of getting a beer with the kids in tow?

Does the Harvester actually allow away fans or do you just make that not known?

There was home & away fans mixing together in there i'm sure of it. Should be fine to get a beer in there with the kids Steve O, was plenty of 'em in there last time too.

the carpenters on singleton park does a nice pint. some craft brews too.

a mix of students, teachers and locals. a nice place i remember.

Where's nearest pub to ground?

last season i parked across the road from the ground, if you head to the ground you wont miss the car park, was about £5, also 5 mins walk from, the ground there was a KFC for some grub if u want it, then was a pub right next to the ground (harvester mentioned above) for home and away fans and they also had a canopy outside and a tent thing selling pints as it gets very busy,

Is that a company car park? i see just outside of that car park there is a part on the road which isnt double yellow lines so could always park on street there.

to be honest pal i cnt remember, there was street parking but i think it was all taken, or blocked off,

I will probably just drink in Central Swansea, Wind St or by the station and get a cab or a bus to the ground. Easier.
