Atrocious player absolutely appalling

Alas we will see him a lot more
Yea Gervinho doesn't even look like a footballer. And for £11 mil?
What was it the AKB's were bleating? He needs a season to aclimatise?
FFS it was obvious from day one that this guy was really, really shite.

The typical AKB line that they trawl out ''but he needs a season'' it's a line they use to defend their god, when, even they know deep down, that their god has signed yet another useless piece of shit!!!

How much composure stat does he have in FM13? To think Ronaldo has 10 composure. it would be funny it Gerv has higher.

I think Bengleton has the best list with two possible exceptions;

Song who is Premiership standard but not quite Arsenal standard, and Black who I think came through the youth system?

To add to what G88ner says, any player signed for a minimal fee or openly as a gamble should not really be included; Bischoff, Mendez-Jiminez etc.

Diawara neither, he was bought and sold for the same amount in some sort of favour for another club and was never meant to be with us for longer then half a season; he was superb in my opinion, being the world's best ever player at the crossbar challenge :D

As for the very worst, my vote goes to Squillachi who whilst on paper looked a reasonable experienced squad player, has not produced anything like what was expected of him.

Just goes to show you can never tell how a player will turn out.

The best?

A combination of transfer fee paid and transfer fee received combined with effectiveness on the pitch, I think would be Vieira, who we sold for about £12M profit after long service.

Henry too an excellent bit of business but just edged out as we arguably made no profit, his transfer fee for the sale being £5M more than we paid for him, but he had an up front £5M bonus the year before.

In purely business terms, Anelka is an extraordinary tale; paid £0.5M sold £23M!

Quartz is about spot on with Squillachi. This was Lord Wenger's attempt to shore up our defence by signing a 30 year old who had spent all his career outside these shores and rewarded him with 60k per week to sit in our reserves. Can't recall the bloke having a single good game - at least the Chamster and the Forehead managed that on the odd occasion

Jeffers would run him close, and Fabianski as said earlier on here is absolutely the worst fucking keeper I've ever seen play for us.....and he was the regular number 1 until his injury let Chesney in, something people seem all to willing to forget

Almunia was dropped today by Watford. Our senile *word censored* of a manager persisted with him as number 1 for three years.

Youre right SteveO

Szczesny only got his chance because the other 3 clowns were injured. If Flappy had stayed fit he would have been number 1 :banghead: :banghead: .The worst keeper i have seen at Arsenal by far

By an absolute mile, without any shadow of doubt. Almunia wasn't half as bad as people make out here. Fabianski has cost us every cup competition he has ever played in. Even George Wood was better than this useless *word censored*

Agree gents Fabianski is without a doubt the worst 'goalkeeper' I've ever seen at the Arsenal. Another great Wenger signing.
