I'm not having a go at Villa because I think he is a very good player but as Mark says, it's only a start that is years overdue. If he does sign, he might score a few goals but unless Wenger manages to magically find that missing tactics book, fuck all is going to happen. Villa will be a signing to try and get 4th spot this year, nothing more ambitious- in the same way that Arshavin was in 2009.

There's talk tht the price for villa will be about 16m but I read somewhere else tht they still owe us some money from the song deal lets say they owe us at least 5m then we would get a top class striker for about 11m
Will be interesting to see if Villa plays today for barca,i can only imagine if he doesnt play/left out of squad the rumours will go into overdrive on here and twitter.

Hope Villa signs for us. I think we could get 2/3 years out of him. Quality player who would add a lot to our team.
Have to say am very disappointed about Holtby. Really thought we would be in for him and rate him as top class. What an engine. Think he will be a top player for the scum.
Going to need a centre half with Djourou leaving. I assume there is a plan
