MAN CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We are now so far behind the leaders, it will take years to sort the mess out!

My feelings exactly, so I will not be too upset if we drop a point or three here tbh.

It's a love hate thing, love Arsenal/hate Utd :|
I feel this way too, last season when we beat them 1-0 i got a few thank you texts from manure plastics i know  patronising fuckers..it was so sweet when they fucked it up on the last day  probably the high point of the season 2nd only to the 5-2 at home to spuds.

I enjoyed beating them last year, right up to the point where I got nicked for displaying that 'PETIT PUTE' banner....it all got a bit serious after that

For some reason they always seem to show us a lot of respect (unlike Wigan, Norwich, Swansea etc) and appear happy to play for a point. Logically, they should win comfortably, but if Yaya and Aguero are out I think we could sneek it.

Back to the league, oh good. Zzzzzzzzzz

Never many goals when we play these at home. With their form and our own insipid 4-5-1 its got 0-0 written all over it. Rest all of our first teamers for the Cup replay and let the kids play this one.

Oh good. That means they'll only have Dzeko, Tevez, Ballotelli and Silva to terrorise our back four with. :banghead: :banghead:

This fixture - against the Champions of England - is still not sold out!!  Neither are any of the forthcoming Home games. :? Perhaps the fans are finally starting to vote with their feet? :rubchin: :rubchin: Good!!!! I've never bought into the 'well if I don't go there are tens of thousands that will take my place' argument for not boycotting games put forward by some!! The reality is that when people lose hope, they also lose interest.

62 quid cheapest ticket! It truly is ridiculous.

The club seem unable to understand that a) nearly all of the category A games will be on TV by definition and b) nobody is interested in seeing us draw or lose to a team that will go on to finish 20 pts + above us in the league and is hence meaningless (unless you're the 'modern day' CL is everything fan and get all dizzy over the virtual trophy)

62 quid to watch us play traditionally one of the most boring games of the season or staying at home / going down the pub and watching the Man U vs Liverpool game followed by ours? Tough choice

I too have mixed feelings about this one... I fucking hate Manure and by beating Citeh we only help them. The win does us no real good in the big scheme of things because we cannot win the fucking league and by qualifying for the CL we only extend the unbridled misery that is the latter part of Wenger's reign. :|

And the thought of VanJudascunt celebrating in May with subhuman shite like Piglips Ferdinand, Grannyraper Rooney, Pubic Mishap Nani and Incestmonkey Giggs is appalling... I had actually hoped Vancuntface would have had his usual long term injury before he hit the 10 PL games mark and thus wouldn't get a medal but that's gone too. Yeah, I am that bitter towards the Judas Kúnt and any whining bitch that comes limping on here with their spunk smeared mouth puking out that old pony about "You can't blame RVP" can go and suck brazilianGOONER's clit after I ban them for life.

So winning does us no real good long term. :rubchin:

But then I never want us to lose any game ever... :|

Anyway, I have a sneaky feeling we will win this 2-1.
