Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think it'll be nice to give Abou his special game in Jan 2016 to celebrate 10 years of the Great Man

I just got out £20 and burnt it. Still a better use of money than Diaby. We are paying for the whole career of an injured player. Good use of the gate receipts.

Agreed mate. Abou didn't play well today but surely he has a little more of an excuse than some out there. Cazorla was fucking desperate especially in the first half. You learn a lot about players when the chips are down and JW10 didn't stop working his bollocks off - the poor little fella must be physically fucked tonight. Cazorla got on my tits - disinterested and offered absolutely nothing to a team that needed its midfielders to stand tall tonight. If that's his attitude when we're down to 10 men, then I feel even more for the poor Ox who at least would have had the stomach for a fight

Diaby was proper shit. But what does anyone expect after being out injured for so long? He wouldn't even be fully physically fit yet, never mind match fit. Ridiculous of Wenger to start him and another indicator of how piss thin our squad is.

Not only all of the above but why did Wenger keep him on when we went down to 10 men? Surely after so long out the amount of work needed when down to 10 would have been too much for him (as it turned out considering he was shit) Wenger should have taken Diaby off once we went down to 10 :banghead:

It most certainly is young man. After all, your wit and Rodders' slow and painful journey into the depths of depression are the only reasons I come on here these days!!

Back in the room???

A loss against the Welsh, followed by humiliation against the Chavs and I'm never leaving the room again! Oh for the days of the Milk Cup.
