Is it too early?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It is easy to predict and say that'll happen. I bet most would have predicted wins against Wigan, Birmingham away and the likes of Aston Villa, Middlesbrough at home. Football is just unpredictable.

Sorry for posting that thing on this thread, i meant for it to have a thread of its own, though I guess it kinda links in.

As you say khalid, football is unpredictable. And you're right, we would have been expected to win all those games we drew.

But football's unpredictability is why we can win the league.

Man Utd aren't footballing gods, they're human, they'll feel pressure. Fergie's squeaky bum time. I just say, you never know.

Football is unpredictable. Don't right us off.

Can't say you've changed my views, stevie_b_19, I still don't think we have a real chance of winning the league, but I like the analysis! What it underlines more than anything is that we mustn't stop going for the win in every game, just in case United do choke.

The reason I doubt your prediction will come to pass is not so much to do with the maths as the relative confidence of United and Arsenal over the last month. A big change on both fronts would be needed, and I just can't see both (plus some mediocre Chelsea results) happening.

If your prediction came through, I would love to hear from all those sack Wenger divs.
