Got a call from Monarch today saying my flight to Innsbruck had been cancelled, i've been swapped to the Monday Munich flight which now means Monday - Friday in Munich on my tod, going to be bored out of my head.
I'm still planning on a night in Innsbruck though since i have a hotel booked there for an evening. Can anyone recommend another place i could spend a night to break up the week? Is Salzburg worth a visit?

I'd love to go somewhere that had an oompah band and those big steins of strong German lager.... Might even give the lederhosen an airing !

Plenty of choice mate but this ones right near our hotel & 600 yards from the main station: http://www.augustinerkeller.de/en.htm it seats 5000 so shouldn't get too busy
