Nasri and Chamakh

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think a few of our more fuckwitted members are missing the point here.

It's the way it was done. Mobbed up (steady Herd, steady... get your hand off your cock... ) outnumbering the bloke, in a hostile environment, from a distance. I would love to have seen what the cowardly little prick would have said to his face if it had just been the two of them, say, in an elevator. Or if it had been Milner or Kompany or even Balotelli (in fact probably Balotelli the mad bastard! ) instead of KD Lang Lesbian Features. Not a fucking word, that's what. Otherwise he'd be filming his face getting removed from his pimply little head, the arsehole.

I just despise gobby mouthy yellow little pricks from the L'Oréal Generation that are in serious need of a good slap but seem to think they can do and say whatever they want and there should be no repurcussions for them, or they sue through daddy's lawyer.

I agree it was the way it was done (shaking his hand and then calling him out from a distance  ) that is the problem but he wasn't abused for being a city player like milner, Kompany or Balotelli as you said above he was abused for being a money grabbing judas *word censored*..... I would have shouted at him had i seen him and i'd happily say it to his face too i wouldnt have hit him as you'd end up inside and i sure as hell wouldnt have filmed it and giggled like a schoolgirl either.

When adebayor came back to the Grove i slated him the whole time he was on the pitch and had many people look round at me confused or disapprovingly but the whole lot cashley, adebayor na$ri GG  are a bunch of judas *word censored* and to think he thinks its ok just to wander around the grove like nothing has happened

I know what you mean but part of my point is IF it had been say Kompany that acted like he did as an Arsenal player and then gone to citeh in the same circumstances, this windy little kúnt wouldn't have acted like he did. It was cowardly.

Would hardly say it was an organised flanking maneuver on their part, just a load of people walking to the ground.

So you would give a couple of young Arsenal lads a slap for digging out a player who showed no loyalty to our club, but would roll out the red carpet for him to stroll around our ground?? Think your a bit mixed up mate.

You are probably right that the kids in question are just mouthy little pricks, but i for one am glad they were there and made that judas *word censored* day out a little bit uncomfortable for him. And i would certainly buy the older lads who fronted him a couple of pints, looked like Nasri's arse was going there

I think you're missing his point a bit, where has he ever suggested he would give Nasri the red carpet treatment? I too am glad he got some stick but I'd rather nothing than a bunch of spineless wankers who filmed everything, shook his hand and then just called him a prick from a distance.

By all means give him a mouthful about being a greedy prick and his comments about the fans but don't film it so that he can't even verbally retaliate, don't shake his hand and don't do it from a distance behind your mates, especially if you're just going to throw aimless generic insults like "prick" at him. Gives some substance to his comments about our fans being passionless if we're passing that off as a "digging out" fella.

Watch the video again mate, think you will find it was the classic pull the hand away at the last second gag, one of the funniest things humanly possible.

The one fucking funny thing and they botched filming it!

That woman's voice grates on me so badly.

Quartz I'm not saying I would advocate abusing Chamakh to his face, but for me he's just another one staying for the money. He knew full well he wasn't going to play this year regardless, as much of an idiot Wenger has been with the squad I doubt he was feeding Chamakh lines about how he was right in contention etc. But he stayed because he knew he'd get paid 30-50% less elsewhere. The bloke has been 'fatigued' for 2 years now and he's lost a yard of pace, doesn't smack of somebody who has been a model pro. Smacks of somebody who's given up on football and turned to counting his money instead.
You are viewing him negatively, but I am saying we do not know the ins and outs of a strange loss of form.

He stayed at the club even when his form dropped; to me that shows him fighting for his place but no getting in the team ahead of Van Persie and Giroud.
He has never looked overweight.
When he did get a game of more than 5 minutes he played fairly well in the Carling Cup and got a couple of goals.

It is also possible he wanted to go on loan earlier, but no club was prepared to pay his wages, so he was stuck.

I suppose he could have just "resigned" and become a free agent, but I doubt the club would let him do that without a transfer fee.

At the end of the day Quartz, unless a player comes out and says explicitly nobody knows exactly what's happened. And even then they might be misleading you. The best we can do is sum up the facts and draw educated guesses. To me the fact that the guy was content to stay picking up his pay packet with no realistic hope of first-team football is enough.

A couple of observations
Firstly the ones filming are pricks for putting online, they weren't saying much

Two or three individuals walked up to Nasri and told him what they thought of him, I don't really see the problem.

Hardly surrounding him, Chamack poked his nose in, fair play to him for sticking up for his pal, but again was told to button it

Bit of verbals that's all, people are deluded if they felt should of been given a dig, that would be totally over the top and more than likely a nicking.

Funny but I bet a few shout and scream at players on the pitch calling them all sorts but seem to think its totally out of order to pull up a player like Nasri whilst he's bowling around the ground.

Funny old world

Isn't that the point though EC3?

People shout all sorts at stadiums and write all sorts on Forums, but in real life the same behaviour is not always appropriate.

Maybe it is an age thing, but there is usually some youngster who will mouth off when he has his mates around, but will not say a thing when he is alone.
