Brighton Away Tix travel pubs etc

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Digital or coalition on sea front under the arches best clubs. Although depends on your ages and if you like a benny or like meeting mandy
my last visit to Brighton was a stag do, we went to one of those clubs under the arches (can't remember which one)
we made the queue to get in we look like a 'special' school trip

You were our first opponents and you stuffed us 4-0 on the pitch and took over our North Stand off it. I was up the other end standing on a milk crate with my mate and mate's dad thankfully. Happy days!
I was there for that one as well. It wasn't even all ticket. Hillman Imp overheated on the way down so had to dump it at the side of the road and train it down for the remainder of the journey! Those were the days!!

I also recall going down there for a Cup game. At one stage a fence was ripped down near us and Arsenal went in to the home end.

are you slating Hillman Imps or Stag do's McDowell?
Hard to tell (as nobody was speaking to you sweetie) it's a wee bit sad resenting others having a good time

I'm psyched for Brightonia, should be a legendary away day,
feels like everybody is going...
Aiming to drink their pubs dry, burn their pier down to the sea, smash their pebbles into sand
and hopefully see us win a football game

One of the best nights out in the South. Have a good trip everyone and FFS Wenger no rotation please - lets knock out the old Tesco carrier bag shirts and get on the road to Wemb-er-lee

One of my first aways was at the old Goldstone Ground (must have been 87 or 88) - early in GG's reign. We won 2-1 in the FA Cup that day too with I think Perry Groves bagging one.

as stated before, I only post to chat about away days and history
I've realised positivity is not wanted here (hurts the touchier part-timers feelings)

why are you posting on this thread, is there any chance of you actually going...?

I'll enjoy the matches,
you just carry on praying for defeats to revel in sweetheart

have you a little crush? throwing rocks at the pretty boys...

I'm very much looking forward to partying in Brighton,
do you want people to be ashamed of having a good time?

only mod PM I can think of was about a slanderous accusation made about our manager (libelous..? always get those confused)
I first privately, then publicly, requested the poster remove it
it was a very specific accusation that our manager was committing financial crimes,
that kind of BS is unacceptable legally and as far as I'm concerned morally
its the kind of thing that gets a website shut down

I understand many on here disagree with my position the manager deserves respect
but surely even those who see him as deluded must realise he believes he has the clubs best interests at heart

anyway you're dragging the thread away from its point.
Away days that you're not going on.

Anyone got any good food, booze or party tips?

More than envious of those who are going!

3pm on a Saturday looks to be the ideal KO time to make a weekend of it. Heavy Friday night followed by long lay in and brunch, before enjoying the ales mentioned by our Brighton poster. And then the match out of the way in plenty of time to get back to hotel, showered, changed and out on the town on Saturday night.
