And Clichy aint exactly been on tip top form has he.

Just saying that we need to have the ability to flex the squad without comprimising quality!

why not take yakubu

YAKUBU. Thats a very good idea, no need to get rid of Ade' just buy 'The Yak'

Scored 19 goals this season, he is on a bad run at the moment, it happens with most strikers. What I didn't like was how he drifted out to help the wingers and fullbacks, we needed him in the box.

Ade should take a cue from Drogba's performance the other day. Drogba wasnt moving all over the field. He was almost always there in the face of the centrebacks, backing into them, causing them problems. I dont think Ade has the ability to run at quality defenders, he should stay more in the box and make a nuisance of himself. And he should win more headers than he does.

They're not that bad surely, OK he's having a bad run ATM, but he will regain his confidence soon, all players have a bad patch.

Yeah it's not his fault really...Wenger's just given him too much responsibilty and in my opinion overrate him alot. Wenger does have a tendency to do this. To call him the best striker in the league was a joke when he's proved nothing apart from having a few months of good form. Or remember when he predicted Reyes to score 30 goals a season?

Bit strong Rebel?

Ade is having a bad patch but has still scored 19 prem goals in 29 games and overall 23 goals in 39 games.

Rosiky has scored 7 goals and I think about 10 assist this season bearing in mind he has only played 24 games not bad. The unjury prone-ness is a prob I agree but lets see.

Almunia had done well I think, only mnaure and chavs have conceeded less goals in the prem plus Lehmann has conceeded three of the 24 goals. How many of those goals Almunia has conceeded can be really blamed on him? I can only think of 4 or 5. our defence has a lot to answer for this season!

On Hleb I might be with you, maybe his mind is already on a move to inter I am not sure or maybe it is lack of competition. I feel, even when he was playing well at the start of the season, he does not shoot enough, if he is a replacement for Pires then he needs goals and I am not sure we will ever get that from him!

WHL 7104

i have run two threads on this forum called "why i hate the ade song" starting after the fulham game when he thumped bentner warning he is undeserving of such a song

i have followed up asking gooners not to sing song until he has scored cos he is big headed arrogant and aint half as good as he thinks.
apart from man city which seems a million light years way now and arguably milan away i dont think he has had one good game since that song invented and mostly he has been useless.

is his loss of form a coincidence? who knows but i link the two and no one can prove me wrong.

so where were you whl when everyone was abusing me for moaning about the song and those who sung it-bloody nowhere.

so blame our demise partly on those who sing the song and the 33% of gooners happy to see chelsea ahead of us -remember 33% did not want chelsea to lose to scum-hatred of scum taking priority over love of arsenal

whl -you and i are fighting a losing battle

ps . i have deliberately avoided using my normal terms of abuse to those who sing the ade song and those who did not vote for a scum win against chelsea. may they hang their heads in shame.

and yes i know their are a million other reasons why we appear to have lost our way but are gooners deserving of success- have my doubts about many who use this forum for reasons explained here and elsewhere.

I did notice on MOTD that he gave a little performance before entering the pitch. Many players cross themselves, among other things, before going onto the pitch but Ade's did seem to be a bit of 'look at me'.
I agree with Roly on this. Until he scores lets not sing it again.

yeah we do sing a lot of chants for ade and we should limit them. the one thing that annoys me is that we never sing for cesc. on sunday not one 'we've got cesc fabregas' was sung. i can't believe we dont sing for him more..arguably our best player

The Cesc son is far far to under used. I actually don't think the Ade song is for Ade as such but it is a really good chant that seems to take off and can be heard on the telly. I would actually prefer if we rarely sung for individual players but more for the team. We really need that, a recognisable song for the Arsenal....

Come on you Red, Come on you Reds!
The Arsenal, The Arsenal!
Good old Arsenal, were proud to say that name, while we sing this song we will win the game!
We love you arsenal we do, we love you arsenal we do!

Those are the songs we should be singing.

"Give him 5 chances and he might score"

This is the best version at the moment to be used...
