Yeah. Expect Lazarus-like recoveries from both the scumbags in time for their game against Villa on Saturday. I reckon the "pains" in Ronaldo's legs will disappear the moment old purple nose removes the shackles.

They've been pulling the same stunts for years. Giggs should have been the most capped international player of all time by now if it wasn't for all the mystery "calf strains" down the years. All of which magically cleared up by the following weekend. The Manure medical team must be miracle workers.

I am quite sure they'll be back for the Man Utd match. I remember when England got knocked out against Croatia; Rooney, Ferdinand, Carrick all weren't even in the first 18, quite odd. Rangers are doing a similar thing to Scotland as well. Barry Ferguson, Lee McCulloch, Allan McGregor and Christian Dailly are all out but are going to be back for the Saturday match against Celtic.

Ferdinand and Carrick were back after three days. Rooney was out for a while though. But Ferguson has withdrawn his players before while our ones just pick up injuries. The worst situation ever being, Henry playing in a meaningless friendly for the 90 minutes, while Wenger allowed Domenech to use Henry for 45 minutes only. That further aggravated Henry's injury as he was just back from an injury. I think it happened last season, after France won the World Cup.

So was Terry, ruled out by the England manager but not by Chelsea manager. Just remembered, Rio has a sadly valid reason, he was suspended for that game thanks to a silly yellow in Russia's half

For friendlies, managers should try to work with each other, it doesn't help anyone if a player gets burnt out and injured.
