THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal are now shit. Just watched Van Persie say how good it was to join a team with Bergkamp and Henry in it as they taught him loads. He now has the same feeling at United and he is learning things again.
We actually think that Arshavin will actually do anything.
RIP Arsenal its all fucking over.

Yep. For the meantime. Enough time for the JCL AKB,s to jog on. Then, most of us will still be here and the 35,000 average crowds will be difficult to justify as full capacity.

When are we due to be floated on the FTSE anyway?

RVP scores yet again! Selling him to Man U has to be the worst transfer since Wenger joined! World class player who got fed up playing with the shit at Arsenal. Wilshere won't be too far behind.......

Watched the interview with him before the game....talking about how he is seeing things in training and from his team mates that remind him of when he first joined us. No shit. Still isn't this the best squad Lord Wenger's ever had?

I actually think that RvP being at United is more beneficial to our team than Giroud for us! RvP is scoring so may matchwinning goals against our Virtual Trophy contenders which could be helping our cause! And... we have pocketed £24m to spend on players to improve the squad... players Arsene cant find.

PS - WTF am I smoking?

There aren't any available mate. Despite the club working day and night and having scouts in every outpost around the world there are no better strikers than Klingon and Le Chapman, no centre halves that can jump or tackle, and no natural holding midfielders. Rest assured though Wenger, Ivan and Dick are working 25 hours a day, 8 days a week trying to find those elusive little gems. Perhaps if they just popped across the channel to Le Havre or Lens they might find that next 16 year old wonderboy to save our season

Watching RVP scoring for Manure is one of the worst feeling. There is no need to even bother about our game.

The sale of him to them by Wenger was the final sign, if it were needed, of the fact that Wenger no longer has the fire in his belly to take on Ferguson. Time was he would not even have taken the call from Ferguson, now he is happy to be given a little patronising pat on the head by his once great rival. Wenger is finished and this was the proof of it.

In the same way that selling Cole to Chelsea for one of their rejects + £5m was a sign that they could push us around whenever they wanted to plus the numerous sales to City. Basically we have told all of our top 3 rivals, if you fancy one of ours you can have him. Doesn't matter if its the best left back in Europe or one of the best strikers in Europe. Just let their contracts wind down and give us a call. Won't be too long before we're selling players to Spurs and Everton

He paid 2.75m for you know who he sold him for 24m that is the bottom line under this regime & this manager profit.

He is on the website saying he wants the team to believe in its quality if he honestly believes that it is frankly laughable you get bad luck at times in a season all teams do but after 22 games you are where you deserve to be.

JW aside Cazorla on a good day who would hand on heart get into either of the Manc teams or the team we lost to today?

We're now closer to QPR in points (19) than we are to Man U (22), the table doesn't lie, this is a disgrace and Wenger should resign now on this fact alone.(but he won't because he's a greedy *word censored*) I mean, we're only 12 points ahead of managerless Southamptn FFS!!

Arsène Wenger said Arsenal cannot afford to drop any more points if they are to secure a Champions League place

 Yeah, good luck with that!
