I bet he's the only one that stays behind at training to wok on his weaknesses. :(

A great emerging player surrounded by shit and managed by a tactically over-the-hill has-been of a manager. There are a lot of teams watching him with a jealous eye, and I know that Wenger and IG will pick up the phone of any offer from any team.

In the last few weeks I have seen countless times he has driven down towards their goal while other players have been content to hold and not make any effort to attack. He has carried us for weeks now.

On the contrary. Giroud has been staying behind at training to work on his weaknesses but when it got to 2 am the security guard had to switch out the lights and lock up

Even in jest that's not funny.

I will be done with the current regime of manager and board if he is sold on.

Willshire is a good player, nothing more imo, but being hyped up because he is English. Fabregas was a better player at 18 than Jack is now and probably ever will be.
Sorry to rain on the Willshire parade but that's how I see it.

I agree with Sid but not because he's English. Wilshere is a good player but compared the the shite he plays alongside he is made to look better than he actually is IMO

I agree with this - it is impossible to compare the two players cos they were playing in teams at totally opposite ends of the scale and while I do agree that cesc was probably a better player at this age, I still believe wilshire to be a great great talent

i don't agree there Augie, Cesc played alongside the much maligned Song, the lazy Arshavin, the over rated Ramsey, and sometimes Eboue, to name but a few. With the exception of Ramsey it could be argued that our Midfield is as strong as it has been for around 6 seasons (with the exception of course of Cesc)
Cesc even in that company looked world class and could dominate a game from start to finish, I don't see Jack doing that and in fact I often feel his inclusion alongside Carzola actually unbalances the team.

Not joking. Its called ambition. There is a big chance we wont finish in the top 4 this season so no CL.He hasnt got a pray of winning the title or the CL if he stays at Arsenal.Does he want to turn into another Cesc who carries the team on his own while playing alongside shite like Diaby Ramsey Gervinho and Giroud

And most of all all he is an asset who will bring in lots of lovely wonga

Selling him would be the final insult for me.

To the other debate, Jack gets played out of position. He is not a no.10, he is better as part of a 2 in a 4231, with Santi playing just behind the main striker.

Jack should be driving from deep, dictating the game.

You can get away with him being a no10 in the odd game like Swansea at home but away from home with the midfield being choked off like yesterday, he needs to drop deeper to dictate the play next to a tackler, what Gilberto was underrated for doing. Something Arteta can do but is not suited to.

Kroenke will need to replace the missing £25m from the Champions League income so I think you're right. Jack must be the only player in the squad capable of commanding a fee of that level or higher. Walcott might fetch £15m-£20m but JW10 is all the rage at the moment.

Never mind, we'll sign that Ligue Deux worldbeater from Bastia to plug the gap
