I want the people who called us every name under the sun for suggesting Wenger's time was up years ago to feel every ounce of fucking pain when they have to put up with Spurs finishing above us and being in their precious Chumpions League next season

Expect some nice little reminders as the season unfolds

As for the "sod off Jabba" brigade.....I hope they are loving the benefits of Stan's millions following on from the precious 'lock down' agreement that eventually saw 2 of the shareholders sell up to Stan whilst we sat on our hands for 3 years prior

I still haven't been offered any sensible explanation as to the anti-Usmanov stuff....so until then

There was quite a few that threw a load of abuse at me when I started the campaign for wenger's removal many moons ago and I think a few of them were mods too  Collapses like we are witnessing at our club do not happen overnight but people refused to acknowledge the early signs of decline and the obvious shift in priorities from wenger despite the previous he had in monaco when he sold all their top players to attempt to win with young kids only to get the sack on the back of it. As I have said before on here, sometimes people get what they deserve and those that felt that wenger was untouchable and could do no wrong are now reaping the benefits of their actions - maybe another pro wenger march will fix everything eh   :banghead:   :cussing: :cussing:
Youve got me paranoid now :? was i one of them? If i remember rightly i was one of your first converted :D

That's my problem with them. The more sheepish ones now take the "that was then and this is now" line of argument but the fact is that they were all too happy to be equally abusive towards Usmanov and be outright abusive to the likes of you and I who suggested years ago he was finished. FFS - isn't a man allowed an opinion about a club or a manager he's followed for 30 years.

I first posted on here in 2008 and fell out with a lot of AKBs for suggesting he should have gone then. The final straw for me was breaking up a second great team that I really believe was on the verge of achieving something special and playing beautiful football at times. For me, you never make the same mistake twice in any job. I could forgive him for the break-up of the Invincibles whilst the dream remained of building a new era competitive team and we were getting close in 2008......but I look back then to the six month period which saw Flamini, Diarra and Gilberto (3 top class CDMs) all leave and Coquelin and Ramsey join and it has set the tone for everything that has since followed whether it be Adebayor, Fabregas, Hleb, Nasri, Clichy, Van Persie.

He will never ever build another great team here. He has sold himself out to the owner in a way that an elite manager would never do and he has lost nearly all my respect for that, idly sitting by and boosting ALL of our top 3 rivals squads since 2006. I know Mourinho is not everyone's cup of tea and theres much to dislike about him but men like him and Ferguson would never just sit there allowing that to happen. I remember Fergie's "I wouldn't sell them a virus" outburst - he knew that Ronaldo was going to leave but they'd already secured him on a long term deal so he was telling Real, if you want our best player you're going to have to pay big time....and they did €80m ! The way Wenger has allowed himself to get suckered into selling Fabregas for under £30m and to even contemplate selling Van Persie to Man Utd shows what an unambitious piece of deadwood he has become.

I finally converted after the away defeat to Sheffield Utd. in December 2006 where we put in a typically limp, abject and spineless performance failing to register a shot on goal even with them going down to 10 men and having Phil Jagielka in goal for the last 20 or so minutes.

I began seriously doubting him after he sold Vieira and replaced him with no one, choosing to promote a 17 year old Fabregas instead. Knew we were in for a long season and my suspicions came to a head as we just scraped past the scum to finish in the holy grail.

I reckon I'm one of the earliest WOB's. :barscarf:

Feel free to display it anyway you like except the Bear roundabout. ,
His Birthday was Feb 14th so there will most likely be a gathering event there at a home game soon.

In fairness the banner got mainstream media attention when shown after the win away to Reading. One off victories or defeats do not change the bigger picture.

Erm not clever to post this before the game at all as there are too many people who'd like to see this fail. I hope the lads behind this have some back up as the AKB's will be foaming at the mouth.

I hope they have back up too....and I hope they kick the living shit out of each and every one of those akb c**ts who feel that they have the right to prevent fellow Gooners from displaying the banner  In fact, and I know that there is a slight contradiction here ( ) but I also hope that they kick the shit out of anybody singing "1 arsene wenker"

Read the comments if you want to get riled up

Mas Khan says:

Really idiotic. The problem is the BOARD more than Wenger. The board sets the ambitions for the club and it is clear that they are not ambitious. If you want to direct your anger and frustration towards anyone it should be Kronke and the rest of the flaccid board not Wenger!
Daxxman says:

Bunch of idiots ! Why don’t you do something else with your spare time ? The fans will never have a say about club doings, and they certainly will never force Wenger out. Not even the board can force him out. He will do whatever he wants, whenever he wants it – and he will leave the club when he decides it is time.

Had an online argument with an AKB because I wanted to see what his reasons were for wanting him to stay. All he could come up with was financial ones, sadly. He was saying the board was stopping Wenger from spending without any evidence. When I pointed him in the direction of Arsenal's accounts, he just went into insults. When I pointed him to Wenger and Gazidis quotes about having money, he would tell me that they were actually saying something completely different. I couldn't win even when armed with overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Unfortunately, that lot will not reason with facts and evidence of decline and failure. They seem to hold Wenger as some sort of an infallible demi-god or something. When you ask them about non-financial reasons that Wenger is still the best man for Arsenal, they don't come up with anything. I understand the sentiment with the past, everyone has that - but in my opinion, basing their argument on sentiment rather than fact is hurting the club in the long term.

The light at the end of the tunnel for me would be that I think that many will be joining up with us soon when the transfer window slams shut without buying anyone with the exception of those who cling to the notion that the board is stopping Wenger from spending.
