As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I am beginning to feel like a battered housewife going back to the lover for more of the same abuse.
Do the custodians of Arsenal fc really think that I won't find refuge somewhere?
The banter with other club's supporters use to be just that, but now it is downright abusive and ridicule.
Yes, Arsenal have been through worse during my time as a supporter (1973), but FFS, we moved to the new stadium to allow us to compete.
I am moving to Suffolk soon and I shall be buying an Ipswich Town season ticket. Not to cheer them on, but because I can afford to buy one and watch some football in a stadium again, instead of at the pub or indoors.
Really sorry top hear that things have got that bad TL.
Suffolk is a nice part of the world (been up here since was 17) but is a bit quiet for a Top Londoner !
Whereabouts are you moving to mate ?

Cheers StuartL. it ain't that bad mate. Bury st Edmunds, and it had housing estates built for Londoners back in the 60's.
First time I watched Arsenal at Portman Road, (away end) I almost shit myself, was just a lad. Great times.
Like BournemouthRED I have some tractor boy mates down there, and plenty of Gooners remain too.
Sold me drum, ditched the missus, and now gonna go and enjoy a proper pint in a proper pub without fruit machines, drunk gobshites and, (cannot say the rest, not politically correct. Suffice to say it has a lot to do with foreigners) in London.
Things ain't bad at all me ol' son. They just got better.

Yep I know Bury St Eds well, home to the very civilised the old Canonn Pub and brewery, In Cannon Street, complete with "gunners" style sign in red / white, where you buy a pint glass with the logo on for £2

Greene King brewery is older than the hills mate. In the town centre too.
It was a cattle town, with Roman ruins.
Nice and quiet, compared to this fucking zoo.
Can't wait to complain about the 20mph drivers, pedestrians and local yokels.
Won't miss the mass immigration (I am a foreigner in me own birth town) people not speaking the lingo, gypsies, Muslim learning centres (mosques), women spitting, drunks and beggars etc etc etc
