Taking pictures/videos at games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You know what I hate even more? Those morons who put their shitty camera phone videos on YouTube as "Henry goal vs Leeds" or whatever and then you get a million of them when you're trying to find a proper view of a particular incident. :banghead:

Anyway, I don't really travel much at all so I don't have much first hand experience. I will say I think society has got to the point where the ability to take infinite photos (thanks to large SD cards, flash memory, etc) has made people think they need to take that many photos/videos. I say take 5-10 quality ones and be done with it. And certainly not during the match, how the hell do you have time to fiddle around with a phone when you're trying to watch a live game?

I watched Everton play River Plate live, locally, during their preseason tour a few years ago. Took maybe 3 pictures after the game? But that was more than enough. Still have the memories of watching the game, and Ortega's beautiful 1-0 winner. Back then I didn't know Moyes was the greatest manager ever ( 8) ), so I really regret not trying to meet him and shake his hand (and tell him to come to Arsenal).

I take a picture at every away game, before kick off, so I can remember it. Keep em in a file on my computer. After that, the phone goes away until after the game.
