Could so easily of been us, but fairplay to Bradford, great to see them in the final and hope the fans have a cracking day out.

Not sure who i'd rather see them against - usually i'd say Swansea but with there current form in the competition i'd love to see 'em against Chelsea!

Brilliant result. Hope they win it. This kind of thing is what football is all about. The underdog turning over the bigger club. 8)

For lambert to say that he is embarrassed by villa's defeat to Bradford is shocking, shocking bad form  By all means say that your players performance was not good enough, or that they had missed a great chance of a day at wembley or even that he and the players apologise to the fans for their performance but don't disrespect Bradford after they beat you fair and square :x :x

I think you are being s bit harsh there Augie, at least it was a truthful admission, compared to what wenker said after our defeat.
I do feel Lambert is in real trouble though, would be fucking great to see those *word censored* relegated.

Tend to agree with Sid. It's about tempering honesty with respect. It would piss me off if our manager in those circumstances was disrespectful to the other club, but there's nothing wrong imo with saying that it's an embarrassing defeat given the nature of the goals, importance of the tie and relative positions and stature of the two clubs (provided you give the token credit to the opposition).

On Sunday next Bradford will walk onto the Wembley pitch with the number 56 on the right hand side of their tracksuit tops opposite the club badge and wording especially to mark the occasion. What a nice understated dignified way to remember those that died in a tragedy that hit their club.

Need to get this trending. Wembley want £1500 from Bradford fans to unveil flag on Sunday in memory of 56 who died in the fire. Disgraceful
