Does this mean a) they are better negotiators b) michu is a fine loyal fella who really does like the team he plays for or c) van parasite is a *word censored* :rubchin:
Do we have to choose one or can we have all 3? :x
Course you can mate.......but it does make you wonder how the swans can keep a player who could demand a much higher wage and better team (no disrespect to swansea) if he wanted a move :|
Totally agree mate. but fuck all that, youre on 2,999 posts you better mark 3,000 with some breasts :barscarf:

Yet because he goes to Newcastle some people are complaining we're too tight to sign him. No pleasing some.

Wasn't enthused about that potential signing either tbh although that is mainly cos I haven't seen fcuk all of him playing. If I am honest I don't want wenker to sign anymore utility players - being able to cover a few positions is all well and good but we need players that excel in one position rather than those that are ok in a few positions  My opinion is that versatile players are basically squad players and we need to improve the first 11 before we go about improving the back ups
That's the thing though fella - if he goes elsewhere then he's a young player capped for France (why aren't we bidding?), but had we signed him then he would instead be an unknown from a mid-table side in a crap league for too much money.

I agree: we don't lack quality in depth. We lack quality full stop. No more fucking squad players who are going to be no better than the ones we have.

Beckham's 13-year-old son on trial at Chelski.
Hello Wenker, a kid with potential? Make him sign something until he can sign the real deal :)

He's only been there 6 months, his contract was until 2015. What has likely happened is that he has got a HUGE payrise (relative terms) in exchange for a very small strengthening in Swansea's negotiating position when bids inevitably arise in the summer. It's just staving off the obvious and allowing Swansea to squeeze every last drop from them. Huw Jenkins is a very shrewd man.

Alex Ferguson was at Celtic Park last night to watch Victor Wanyama who scored in the game. He's valued at £10m. (Source: SkySports

Have to admit I haven't seen him play but from what I've heard Celtic would ask for miles more than that.

Wenger hails 'great response' from his players. Vermaelen doubtful for Sat. I asked Wenger if he had any news for us at which point he said he would have to cut the presser short as he's so busy with things.
