Brighton Away Tix travel pubs etc

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Brighton mate. Although i've just looked, seems as if they've cancelled some of the trains that were planned.

Yeah, from London. I do plan on drinking, so will take the train, I guess. Was just considering the arsenal coach as it's cheaper, but I guess that would restrict pub time before and after. Might check out where the @AFC_Away crowd are planning drinking before the match.
I would avoid wherever AFC_Away tweets, it is generally full of mongs in replica tops throwing beer about and northern 'Gooners' :cussing:

Really? Thanks for the heads up. Never have met up with that crowd, but as no one I know is going as of yet, was just looking for a gooner crowd to pre-plan where I'm going.

Although in regards to the accent, I'm a mix there (not a northerner) as I'm American via Dublin now living in London for 3 years.

Ah, sorry. I believe it's only from Brighton to Falmer on the train and various park & ride buses around Brighton.

Hoping to find a pub with a good away fans atmosphere so can have a decent build up before heading to the ground.

There are 3 of us heading down by car from Warwicjshire and parking at the train station

Have a good day out everyone should be a good one and a new stadium to tick off too

See the advice re pubs above.

I am from Brighton and a Gooner Season tkt holder.

Most of the good proper pubs around Brighton Staion are pretty small but the best ones (Evening Star, Albert, Nelson ) are all within 1 minute of the main station. The Bell and the Grand Central will probably have most gooners in them but these pubs are pretty crappy compared to the others.

I will be circulating trying to get a tkt!!!

doubt 'pedantic ass' will be popular with flash
Americanisms are one of the things I'm being attacked for on this thread
'pedantic arsehole' maybe...?
