BRIGHTON FA CUP THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sadly this is now the case in the league, Europe's and domestic cups. We plodder through against the weaker teams before being destroyed by the big boys.

Shocking defending but a win is what counts.

Or away to any mid table premiership side. We were lucky to get a replay at the Liberty from a distracted swansea. The next round will fall during the bayern munich tie and that will be it if we draw premier league opposition.

It beggars belief that someone could hate Wenger so much that he enjoys us losing or doing badly.

Some go too far. Players and managers come and go.
You support the club you love, even if you hate the manager.

Santos ,I had to laugh or I'd bust a blood Vessel ,Jenkinson who had a good game overall almost gave the Penalty away at the end .

Amusing slagging off from Graham Souness at Half time had me chuckling, suggested Arsenal dont like any contact so they wont challenge for a ball in case they hurt themselves .

Only quality was from a great stream from Tykes TV ,thanks Reb ,I'm in Bali with a dodgy wi fi and a rice field as my back garden but it came in strong with no freezing !

Hate Luton and MK so wouldn't want to give them the revenue !

Ok it's confirmed you cannot teach defending.

Otherwise how come BFG defends like that?!!

Cup game away at lower-league opposition, result is all that matters. We got through and gave Wilshere and Cazorla a much-needed rest so has to be viewed as a success.

Only down-side is that that fat wanker Santos is still breathing.

gibbs looked world class in 10 mins compared to that lump of shit santos.

ramsey terrible.....again. thought rosicky was decent. diaby was pretty good. ox pretty bad. olivier was really good again, looked stronger than he has previously.

Pretty good? How our standards have dropped. In comparison to Ramsey, admittedly, he was Xavi. But the guy needs to get going....and finally click his brain into gear more than once in a game. Then he might be a little less frustrating.

As for Ramsey - will he ever be as good as Diaby?

:D

Likened to baba, because he is objectionable. Full stop.

Baba is/was at least eloquent and subjective. That other twat is, well,,,,, just an attention whore.
OBG got it right earlier today about the w4nker.

Pretty even game which tells you the level this Arsenal team is currently at. We might as well not bother with a defence if we're gonna persist with this zonal marking shit and Santos. He was unforgivable for their second goal, just stood and watched...

Brighton, you gotta fix the transport situation at that stadium. What a ballache. Maybe we're spoilt with 3 tube stations on our doorstep?

Today was the Good, the Bad and the Santos

The good was Girouds 2 goals and his good all round performance (and I'm not his greatest fan)

The bad was our shambolic defending, especially from set pieces.

The Santos? well :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:
