As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What do you mean 'anymore'? It never has been a problem!! On a serious note, whatever the original reason for starting it, the fact remains that it won't do any harm to remind the users to keep some element of control over what they write, lest we be shut down again - but this time for good.

Then may I suggest this forum going offline from 8pm Thursday evening until 4am Friday morning. It's going to be armageddon once the window shuts, every man for himself

think it maybe an idea to close it down now till Friday the anger is starting to flow now Victims just announced another player and we are running to Stand still .
It's not as if people are going to be any happier the following day, is it? What's to stop them venting their spleen then instead? Therefore the idea of a 'shut down' is not a goer - unless it's of the permanent kind, and none of us want that. Much easier if people just show a little restraint.
To be honest I think that the post transfer deadline day temporary shutdown isn't the worst idea- yes folk wont be any happier the day after but there wont be as much heat of the moment stuff that would cross the line.
We all know we are signing fuck all but that doesnt mean there wont be a reaction when its finally confirmed.
The same people likely to 'cross the line' should have already come to terms with us probably not signing anyone, if their previous posts are anything to go by. Therefore in reality there are no 'excuses'!!

Seeing as I am/was the original target of this thread, am I to assume that I am supposed to have crossed some line ?
Relax augie, I'm just talking in general and include myself among the group. We both knew long ago that Wenger wouldn't buy the players we need, therefore it's not worth getting too upset over the fact that he's proving us right, is it?
