Wenger, who insisted it was "not on the agenda" that David Beckham, a 37-year-old free agent who is training with the club, could sign, said: "I have to try not to get caught up in that [transfers] in January. People expect us to buy someone of top quality but I have to be strong enough to resist or you have a player for four or five years who will never play a game... an average player who you know at the start is average. If I do that, I don't do my job."

Irony is clearly lost on Arsene Hitler.

Funny thing is that in his list of strikers he cites podolski as a striker who he bought to play up the middle yet he has refused to play him there and has at different stages opted for a struggling Giroud, a winger in Wally and an all round shite player with a huge forehead in preference to podolski :x

Mind you in the same conversation he, was asked about buying a midfielder and his listed all his "great" midfielders and podolski's name was there too

Senile old c**t   :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

Gazidis informed Wenger that the club have been unsuccessful in trying to secure the club's primary targets. And there is now a growing sense that Arsenal will not make any signings this month, instead opting to save the money for a massive splurge in the summer.
Once again as always, we promise next transfers will be huuuge!
Oh come on Ivan, who, WHO would sign for a mid table, 8years trophyless, without champions league club? It's like signing for Scousers for god sake. If you mean massive by bringing 10 Gervinhos, yes that's massive..lack of intelligence.
I'm getting tired of this promises, club's reputation is falling year by year and soon we could become just "proud on our history midtable club" or as I said :censored: Scousers!
Ivan, do something useful or/and get out and leave it to people who can actually do this.

I know a lot can change before the deadline, but - so far - which top class players have moved clubs in England/Europe?

Sneijder to Galatasaray stands out, but who else?

Just seems a very quiet window with no top end business being done anywhere :?

I have to try not to get caught up in transfers in January?! What?! You absolute moron. If you're responsible for compiling such a paper thin squad that racks up the lowest ever points total under your management, then it's you're fucking business to get "caught up" in transfers and sort it the fuck out.

I fucking despair. What is happening at our club?!

What do we need him for? The playground bullies have already told me how "well sussed out" I am because the King of Montpellier has scored 4 goals in 2 games against West Ham and Brighton......and he's got a massive total of 1 goal against teams from the top half

I don't want us signing anyone.
