Christian Machowski ‏@ChristianMcr
According to Radio Marca, Malaga left back Nacho Monreal is in London to sign for Arsenal tonight. Outstanding player, great loss.

Christian Machowski ‏@ChristianMcr
Monreal won't be eligible for the Champions League, as he has played for Malaga in the competition this season. Malaga fans will be unhappy.

Christian Machowski ‏@ChristianMcr
@philmcnulty Excellent player and a very good signing for Arsenal.

Christian Machowski ‏@ChristianMcr
The excellent @eldesmarque_mcf think, that the fee for Monreal will be between 10-12m Euro, which would be another bargain for Arsenal.

Christian Machowski is a Malaga season-ticket holder.

My Dear Ole Mucker McDTransfer...I think we (as in collectively on this forum) need to ensure that the words 'play' and 'santos' are not used in the same phrase/line/sentence...more like 'Plod' and 'santos' or 'shyte' and 'santos' - whaddya reckon??

Apparently Cazorla played a massive role in getting Monreal here.

mac. Fener wanted the fat twat, then saw his performance last night and decided against it. Are you suggesting that a transfer out is still on?

We're still waiting for developments at Arsenal. They're in talks to sign Nacho Monreal at Malaga. No word yet on formal offer

SSN VIA TWITTER

Monreal is someone Chelsea were talking to prior to the window. Spain international, peak of his career, good price."

One of the most ridiculous things I have heard on deadline day. Maarten Stekelenburg is on his way to Fulham by plane but Sky Italia are reporting that Roma have already called off any deal but it came too late for the goalkeeper to get off the flight.
Arsene, take him! He's already on his way to England (so no travel expenses), without any deal, a good motivation for Scez! :barscarf:
