Giroud and Theo very good goals.
Both could have had another too.

Defence scary.

Comedy Performance of the night either Santos, or the parents of the man named Wilton Wilson whom the stadium announcer asked to make himself known to the nearest steward.

Embarrassing defending    My old Sunday League manager would have battered us for defending like that in the Essex district division 6!!

Nice goals by Giroud and Theo

We actually made a shit Liverpool team look like world beaters in the first half!

The whole back 5 should hang their heads in shame, fucking comedy defending. All this bollocks about "Mert isn't strong or brave for a big lad". Fuck that, doesn't matter what height the twat is, a coward is a coward, a weak bitch is weak bitch. I'd take one Dennis Wise/Scott Parker ahead of 10 Merts any day. PUT YOUR FUCKING HEAD IN WHERE IT HURTS YA FUCKING WIMP!! :x You look closely at the eyebrows and foreheads of CH's at the end of their careers. Covered in scar tissue. Adams, Bouldy, Keown, TerryCunt, all have it. Mert will retire without a mark on his face.

Sagna is just appalling. I really don't give a flying shite what is affecting him. He is playing shite, cannot cross, won't/can't take his man on, and looks scared of his own cock! He should NOT be playing.

Gibbs is a write off. Chocolate legged. End of. He will spend his career being injured because he has no muscle mass on his legs. Sad, but fucking true.

Ramsey was shit. People saying he's playing better? Yeah, he's making less stupid high profile mistakes but he still can't pass the ball where it needs to go. If the guy is running put it a few yards ahead of him, not straight at his feet you idiot!!

Every time I see VanJudas' groupie SantosCunt in an Arsenal jersey I want to be fucking sick. Add to that the fact he is a fat useless kúnt and I want be sick on his fucking fat face. And nice of him to nearly fuck the result away with his lazy pass in the dying minutes. Horrible useless fuckbag.

Enough of the negatives! Oh, no - hang on! Wenger you simply don't have a fucking clue anymore. Please just fucking leave. PLEASE!

Cazorla and Wilshere were much better in the second half as was Podolski and Walcott. There was a 15 - 20 minute spell where we could have and should have put the game to bed but their George Graham-ish 9 across the back 4 worked hard to hold us out.

Giroud played ok, but his first touch often let's him down. Got a good goal which shows he can deliver to some extent if we can whip a decent ball into him and his assist for Feo's cracking finish was sublime and is a side of his game the usual doom-mongers don't like to admit he has. But he does. His dive was appalling and embarrassing though. The miss at the end? It was fired at him and took a deflection off the defender which put the ball in between his feet so a bit stupid to blame him for that one. But yet again he worked hard and won his share in the air so continued improvement. But I still think we need a seriously world class striker in there or play Giroud and Podolski as the 2 in a 4-4-2.

MOTM for me was Wilshere by a long shot. Never stopped running, working, trying to create. I just wonder how long before Wilshere gets sick of running his arse off for little or no return and decides "fuck this, I'm off!"? :|

Don't care whether you like him or not, Myles sums it up perfectly. Spot on!

Prediction : Bayern Munich 12 Arsenal 5
By Myles Palmer

He’s a snob.

He’s a recidivist.

A charlatan.

A manager who doesn't teach defence is a charlatan.

How the hell does he get away with it?

It’s pointless describing Arsenal 2 Liverpool 2.

This "team" is so far from what an Arsenal team can be and should be, words fail me.

This crazy situation has gone beyond journalism, beyond blogging, beyond a joke, beyond everything.

Before seeing the farcical first half against Liverpool, I thought Bayern Munich would score five goals.

But then I saw Liverpool score two goals and miss four. Bayern Munich will score the goals that Liverpool missed.

The long-awaited 180-minute Champions League encounter will be over after 45 minutes.

Why are Arsenal so unprofessional?

Because he doesn’t let Steve Bould drill the team to give it shape and discipline and good habits.

If Arsenal trained properly they wouldn't look as unprofessional and jittery and shambolic as they do.

I won’t take Arsenal seriously till they employ a tactical manager who can teach defence and challenge for trophies and make us believe again.

Last night’s chaotically amateur defending leaves them four points below Spurs with 14 games to play.

Sixth isn’t a trophy.

As I said two weeks ago, until Wenger goes, there’s nothing to talk about.

Champions League? You’re having a laugh.

Arsene FC will get pulverised by Bayern Munich, who are rocking this season. Bayern are back in a serious way right now. Eight points clear at the top with a game in hand and a hugely superior goal difference.

Just as many if not more are still happy mate. They have forgotten the values that made Arsenal great in the past like being hard to score against for example..... While the sheep outnumber everyone else we are fucked and just think Wenger will sign a contract extention within 6 months :barscarf: :suicide:

Most of the time these days I find our defeats and/or shitey performances much easier to take because they are half expected. Lets face it when you've lost 8-2, thrown away 4 goal leads, lost cup finals to Birmingham City, lost cup quarter finals to Bradford City, thrown away two goal leads on three occasions to the Spuds, and been rolled over by Wigan, Norwich, QPR etc etc, there isn't much more that can hurt....

....but occasionally a game comes along that makes my blood fucking boil, and the first half of the game yesterday and particularly that first goal for the Mickeys and the whole defensive ineptitude really got me raging. Fuck me - is there now a competition to see how many individual errors we can have leading to an opposition goal? Even by our standards that was woeful - Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen and Ramsey hang your heads in fucking shame.

Then barely a few minutes later our self appointed superhero in goal decides to try a little drag back and almost cost us a second. That boy is playing in a comfort zone that comes from the lack of competition he faces - something no other top club would tolerate. Confidence fine - love it, misplaced arrogance - forget it son, you're not good enough by half yet

Cazorla then does his 30 minute disappearing act apart from to consistently give the ball away, Poldi decides he won't shoot despite his recent scoring form and the defence looks like it can be ripped to tatters whenever the oppo has an attack

Then we do the usual - second half, high tempo, keep the ball well, take more shots and lo and behold we score a couple.

I just hate the whole lack of defensive shape and the fact that you just know the first 45 minutes is going to almost be a warm up

The arrogance of the squad in thinking it's acceptable to turn up for 20 or 30 minutes each game reflects the arrogance of a manager and the arrogance of repeatedly telling them how fantastic they are and not changing anything.
