Hi Guys I need help on how to upload my first ever pic.
How do you do it?

You want to upload it from your computer onto the internet or from the internet onto the forum?
The former you need to sign up to a website like Photobucket (free) or you can do it through twitter these days. It should be fairly straightforward from there, you click "upload image" which will let you browse the files on your computer and you just click the one you want. Once uploaded you should be given a HTML link to your picture which you can spread around the internet till your hearts content.
To then post the pic on the forum you type these two brackets (without the spaces) [ img] [ /img] and copy + paste your link between the two brackets.

If, like me, you are not much of a computer buff, this may explain it a bit simplier (sorry LDB
)
when you click on post reply on the forum you get some option buttons along the top in red, bold, fonts etc select the Img (image) button and these should appear
Then in the gap between you need to post your picture's http code which you find by right clicking on your image and selecting the "properties" option. (click on it, copy it (it will be highlighted blue to show that you have copied it then paste it onto the gap between the tabs.
Then hey presto...............

Anybody know how to do a strikethrough? Ive tried doing [strike] . [/strike] and <strike> <strike> but no luck.

It's fairly easy to upload images to here. I'm nearly geriatric, and I can manage it.
Google "photobucket". Open a (free) account there. Then click on the "Upload" panel. Click on "search files" which will let you look at all the images you have saved to your computer. When you find the one you want... just double click it. It will upload to your Photobucket "library". And it's there for you to share whenever you want.
To share your selected image on here, just find it in your photobucket library. Then left click on the bottom panel which says IMG. It will tell you that you've copied it. Then do a "post reply" or "new thread" on here. Do a right click. Followed by "paste". Job done.
