His achievements of the past 5 years outweigh Wenger's by a mile. Before he came along Port Vale was a big match and only 10 years or so ago they were in league 1 and getting knocked out of the FA Cup 1st round by non-league teams.
Can the last few remaining AKBs in the room get a little bit of perspective when they hear a couple of hundred groans or still need to bring up the booing of Eboue 4 years ago. The European Champions want their manager out, large chunks of the City following wanted Mancini gone after we beat them 1-0 last year, Liverpool want everyone gone that isn't Kenny Dalglish, and United only need to go 2 years without a trophy and the calls start pouring in from Surrey and Dublin to Talkshite saying how Fergie's lost the plot and should retire
Our bloke has more resources at his disposal than any other Arsenal manager has ever had and is now doing what the likes of Neill and Howe did i.e get us into the top six without every making a challenge for the title. The shame for those guys as opposed to Le Fraud is that they didn't get to enter their teams into something laughably called The Champions League for finishing 4th

You've seen the stats about his big spending and he only come mid table, we have the FOURTH highest wage bill in the league but came third.....so wenger is over achieving?

Wenger has destroyed 2 teams during that time, selling out to the American most recently big style, and has achieved what exactly - we've flatlined at best, gone backwards at worst. Look at the table - its February and we are playing catch up with Everton and Spurs, two teams with significantly less resources.
To have got Stoke promoted when they weren't fancied at all for promotion and to have stablised in mid-table is a great achievement. Pulis has taken a team from fucking nowhere in the Championship to the top half of the Premier League and an FA Cup final. They hadn't been in the top flight for more than 20 years. Look at loads of teams that have tried to spend their way out of the Championship and then maintain a top half finish. Newcastle had their one season in the sunshine last year and have now had to spend millions again to stave off relegation. QPR - the busiest team in the last 3 transfer windows and who have used 50 players in a year and a half, six points adrift from safety.
In the last 5 years Wenger has taken us backwards - forget Man City and their millions. Look at the players out on the field, look at the points earned this season. Pulis has undoubtedly taken Stoke forwards during that time and despite what anyone says about how much he's spent to have not been threatened by relegation once during that time when clubs like Newcastle, Villa, West Ham etc have gone on spending sprees and made a fuck up of it, is still a decent achievement whether you like it or not

Wenger's team plays / (attempts to) play attractive football, and play in the Champions League - playing, and beating some of the best teams in the world and has finished in the top 4 of the Premier League (3rd last year).
Pulis has got them promoted to the Premier League, and has stuck around due to hoofing football, gamemanship and destroying football games. Anyone who was there on Saturday will surely agree that was one of the worst games of football ever seen, mainly because Stoke destroyed it with time wasting, fegining injury, gamesmanship, awful tackling and refusal to participate in any sort of football match. No laws against it, but fuck me I couldnt watch that every week, and id be disgusted if our club resorted to such tactics.
