I remember a time when we were a one man team too.....oh yeah, last year

On the final day of the season we desperately needed to finish above Spurs so that we could retain our top talent whilst if they missed out for the CL a second time there would be a mass exodus of talent from the Lane.

I am pleased we qualified for the CL because look at us now - we're streets ahead of them

Comes down to their majority shareholder and their Chairman both being fans of the club at heart and determined not to be stiffed over. They got more for Modric than we got for RvP and even Fabregas

I reckon a couple of season of being injury free and an England regular and it won't be long before we allow United, City or the Chavs to bully us into selling Wilshere for half the money the Spuds will end up getting for Monkey Boy
