will not blame Wenger for this diabolical loss purely because it was the players that lost it and not him.

On the day we were just not good enough and if wenger went we would be in even bigger trouble than at present, just look at Portsmouth since Appleton left for Blackburn and that is what could happen to Arsenal if wenger went, we just need to take a very big breath and look forward to the next game which could be full of excitement. I will never give up Arsenal and am prepared to accept the hard times in order to see the good times when they come. WHICH THEY WILL

If you believe that Wenger doesn't care about winning, that it's all about profit, then I believe you don't see the man on the sidelines

When players are underperforming there always has to be an apportionment of blame between them and the manager, but:

1) It's no player's fault that Wenger has been diabolical on balance in the transfer market since the Invincibles.
2) In the last 7 years nearly every season we've underperformed even against our ever-decreasing ability: given how many players have played under Wenger, it clearly points towards it being his fault far more than any group of players.

Someone should tweet back to Lardarse that any manager who thinks Gervinho is a serious option upfront for the Arsenal either doesn't care about winning or is quite clearly mad.

A lot of people have said that the 11 players on the pitch should be good enough to win the game. And I tend to agree - on each of the club's best days, then we would win the game. The problem, however, is that we're not going to have our 'best day' every time we take to the field. BUT - we should still be good enough to be below par and still put away Championship sides. And that's why the squad isn't good enough.

I'm also irked that media analysts (who really haven't caught on to the anti-AW sentiment among many AFC supporters) seem to take each terrible result like this as a 'one-off' - it's always treated as an isolated occurance, and never put into context of a grand narrative. It's always, "Arsenal had the players to win this game, but they weren't good enough on the day. Credit to (whichever team just turned us over)." And then that's it. By the time we next play, it's all forgotten about.

Makes me laugh when i read views like that.

He wants to win on his own terms takes all the plaudits when we get a result deflects all blame & becomes defensive when beaten.

To those that still believe in him good luck to you.Plenty don't sadly him & the owner reflect each other the bottom line is money. The fact the club could make a hell of a lot more by being successful on the pitch seems to have been lost.

We have had a losing mentality at this club for a good few years now low ball expectations happy to finish on the fourth place podium.OGL quoted as saying give me 2nd place for the next 20 years & sign up to it sums it up.

Still that's the league how can we compete with the oilgarch clubs eh :banghead: likewise the cups Real Bradford & AC Blackburn nothing to complain about there.

Today was my first home match of 2013, forgot what i'd been missing.

Thought i'd mistakenly walked into a J-Pop concert, was surrounded by about 20 Japanese teenage girls who spent the whole game whooping & squealing for Giroud. Families back & forth to the concourse with trays of processed horse in a bun, multiple cups of coffee. Seriously, how hard is it for you to sit in one place without eating for 90 mins? 45 even?! People strolling in after 30 mins :? People who seemingly can't read numbers, "Why are you in my seat? I was sat here for the first half." You're in the wrong block love. :banghead: Total weirdos filming the entire game, getting told off for standing with one foot in the aisle; "fire hazard mate". Really?!

Fuck you Emirates matchday experience.

And then there's the shit out on the pitch to just round it all off.
