Re: Blackburn FA Cup
what a sad state of affairs when you cant even have a differant opinion to the idiot sat next to you, especially in this case as THERE IS NO CASE TO ANSWER,WENKER IS FINISHED.i seem to remember that at highbury you could voice pretty much any opinion especially discontent at an underperforming player or team.its sad to say that anybody who wants rid of lord wenker isnt welcome at the emirates, the emirates is simply his church for his disciples to worship him until he takes them to paradise after he is crucified and raises himself from the dead to live eternally thus being able to walk on water, turn water into wine, make the seas part, cure leprasy etc etc,ffs i really dont know where our club is headed with so many brain washed twats supporting us

Re: Blackburn FA Cup
Would it have been so terrible to have let some of the inexperienced but hungry kids have a go today?
Not all of them, but mix them up with enough experience so that they can learn.
Give Eisfeld, Gnabry and Yennaris a go.
Those three have given their all on the limited occasions they have had an opportunity to play.
Heck, from the lack of sharpness upfront today I would have taken a blind punt on Chuba Akpom, of whom I have seen nothing whatsoever but who has an emerging reputation!

That is the joy with away games, a lot less of the Arsene lickers around.

That's what I don't understand, they bang on about their academy then won't give any of them a chance.
If a younger team had gone out whilst giving it evrything then it's easier to stomach but a bunch of fringe losers that we pay far too much to sit on their a***s just f**ks me off.
In two cup games against lower league dross, Gervinho has been one v one with keepers and neither keeper hashad to make a save. I would back Gnagry,Eisfeld and Akpom over that clueless forhead anyday.

Think we should allow him back on here now to see how long it would take him to be banned again

Re: Blackburn FA Cup
I second that. He was pure entertainment. I don't think that the watered-down version - N1 Goon, is quite as funny.mcdowell42 wrote:Top Londoner wrote:quote begeegs.

I can't agree with that Quartz.
Wenger was responsible for that dross on the pitch today. I do not think that it would have made the slightest difference if the Arsenal Ladies or youth were played.
Wenger has a knack of not inspiring his players, he is tactically inept, and unable to motivate from the bench.
Even if we had Messi starting we would have struggled.
The bigger problem is the manager.

back from the titty bar, got chucked out for daring to booo the quality of the tits and the boring sideways tit swaying and critising the management for not changing the style of lap dance, got frog marched to the nearest cash point by 2 burley bouncers (not in orange) made me withdraw and hand over £300 for ordering a drink for a young lady, strangely though still dont feel as mugged as going to the emirates

Why would Wenger ever voluntarily quit? Would you quit the easiest 7.5 mill job in the world?
We're now a plastic X Box football brand that's just one slice of Stan's global sports investment portfolio, and the brand will always be strong as long as were getting into the CL league. Winning domestic cups means little in terms of denting or improving the corporate brand. While Wenger's not excelling anymore, he's still achieving the corporate bottom line to keep the brand strong, which is CL qualification. Waste of time asking Wenger to walk after results like this. As if.

Re: Blackburn FA Cup
Why can't our defenders and keeper communicate as much as Blackburn were today, they were congratulating each other everytime Arsenal failed to score.
Not many positives from todays game, though we did learn how to make Rosicky play better, make him think he will be substituted as he didn't do much until the subs were ready to come on. Also that I may be able to score in the African cup of nations if Gervinho can get 2 goals.
Why we rested Sagna when he is one of the few players if they got injured we can replace on Tuesday I don't know as his pace could have made a difference.

The manager decides if we should play the younger players, so yes it is down to him.
But playing those younger players can be a catalyst to energy on the pitch if the team is performing badly.
I am not talking about throwing an unready defender into a tight situation, but of putting on energetic and bristling ambitious attacking talents.
Yes Yennaris is a right back at times, but he plays midfield too and is quick to the tackle and plays good passes.
When Gnabry made his League debut against Norwich, he was all-action in an otherwise poor Arsenal performance. Sure it was in the last 10 minutes of a 1-0 loss, but it showed spark.
Certain players give 100% regardless of the manger, because they have a burning will to win i.e. Wilshere.

We have no chance in the champions league. The priority should have been today. He should have played his strongest team not a load of kids as is being suggested. More incompetence from Wenger - let's keep our powder dry for a competition we have not got a cat in hells chance of winning.Top Londoner wrote:I can't agree with that Quartz.

Sadly the stadium is full of people who think that blind allegiance to a failing regime is the sign of a real supporter. These are the people who are happy for us to continue to fail season after season as long as the Dear Leader stays in charge. Unfortunately they account for about 80% of the current fan base at Arsenal – the ones who leave 10 minutes from the end, even though we are one nil down in the cup, so that they can miss the crush on the tube.markyp wrote:what a sad state of affairs when you cant even have a differant opinion to the idiot sat next to you, especially in this case as THERE IS NO CASE TO ANSWER,WENKER IS FINISHED.i seem to remember that at highbury you could voice pretty much any opinion especially discontent at an underperforming player or team.its sad to say that anybody who wants rid of lord wenker isnt welcome at the emirates, the emirates is simply his church for his disciples to worship him until he takes them to paradise after he is crucified and raises himself from the dead to live eternally thus being able to walk on water, turn water into wine, make the seas part, cure leprasy etc etc,ffs i really dont know where our club is headed with so many brain washed twats supporting us

We had over 20 corners today but at no stage threatened ( Other than one Diaby header).
We literally could have played all night and wouldn't have scored.
Blackburn very limited but one mishap was always going to destroy us.
Wenger tactically inept??? Surely not. He brought on 3 subs after guess what time? Yes 70mins precisely. Immediately conceeded.
I am tempted not to bother going for Bayern.
Arguably they are the most efficient team in Europe.
I can see a 1-3 defeat in the first leg and 3-0 in the second.
We have no hope.
Mr Bean must go now and turn out the lights on the way out as your final money saving , book balancing act.
