RIP Thread

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Hope he's ok. Hasn't posted since November 23rd...

Has the 'biter' been 'bitten'? :rubchin: :rubchin: :worried:
I think there was quite a bit of mickey taking when he was last on and I'm not sure he took it that well.

That'll be the last time he starts a transfer rumour thread then, won't it?

Tim Dog, one of the most controversial MCs of all time.
Hip Hop mourns, except California, which probably celebrates!

Never quite understood Tim Dog although i had an album or 2 back then, did he create the problems with NWA just to sell records?

I think he genuinely felt that West Coast rappers were wack. So he went for them.
He was from t'he Bronx, and had skills far superior to theirs.
But never sold as many records as t'he big West Cost groups he dissed.
His attacks were highly venomous, if released today they would cause a huge stir.
But back then Hip Hop was a bit more self-contained.

Yeah, just heard about Richard Briers.

From an age where you could be funny without having to use foul language. 8)
I was reading an interview about him the other week. I think he had early stage Alzheimers?
I thought that it would be better if he popped his clogs whilst he still had his dignity.

RIP.

Another musician, Kevin Ayers of Soft Machine.

Heavily sampled by Hip Hop producers.
