Munich at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't agree with leaving early but I don't see the point in slagging them off, they're probably f'ed off with watching their own team be gutless at home.
I most certainly am not a trolling scum fan. I dare voice an opinion and that's what I'm labelled? Nice.

I paid my money to watch Schalke earlier in the season, and Norwich, and Man U, all shocking games (although the Man U game wasn't as bad as the other two), but not for one minute did I think of leaving.

What's the point of coming to a game late, not singing, booing, and leaving early.

Support your team.
Yes, of course support the team, it really works for them doesn't it!

theres a difference between arsenal supporters at the game and emirates attendees, far to many of the latter, knew it was time to jack in the ST when i found myself waking up in the middle of the night shouting "ade stay fucking onside"
I stopped going to home games myself but take my hat off to anyone who will still spend the 60-100 pounds to watch a surrender. It's their money their choice to go or not go, leave early or leave late. If you are at home watching it on the telly in a nice cosy armchair then don't slag off others .

I disagree topgoon - anyone with a FA coaching badge could prepare this team, study the opposition, organise and drill the defence and bollock the midfield for not tracking back.

Jack, pod, cazorla arteta, walcott, TV5, monreal, Gibbs etc make the nucleous of a decent side - definately FA or League cup winneable and 3rd/4th in the league - which we are no longer btw.

i watch most of our players on international duty and TV5 is a different class in a man-to-man back four in a very good belgian side.

we also have some decent kids who never play - miquel, jenkinson, who if put in a system and given a job to do - "go on son" run at them (ox) or " hassle them, keep on them, keep your foot in, get a reaction" (frimpong etc)

Was there tonight and the crowd were great even despite the fact that the first half was an embarrassment. The stats showed 2 shots on target in the first half, but I don't remember them at all.

Bayern came with a game plan and they executed it perfectly. The harassed us in the first half and forced us to either hoof it up to Walcott (!) or off to Sagna. They always had men available and when there was the rare time that we broke, 8 men sprinted back to cover. We, on the other hand, were total shite. Why put Walcott as the lone striker and then not play to his strengths?

The second half was better, but partly because Bayern sat back more. We started to force the play and they started turning the ball over. However, even with that, outside of the goal (Neuer went walkies) and Giroud's shot, we really didn't threaten.

It was men against boys. Tactics and organization mean something and they cost nothing to implement. I am so sick of hearing these idiots who say that Wenger hasn't had money to spend. Well, let's say that he didn't - his tactics and game planning (or lack of) are still shocking to be taking home the best part of £8 million a year.

Still we are stuck with another year of this madman....

I don't understand how Bould stands for it.

I'd like to think he has too much respect for himself to be an AW yes man yet we concede comical goals, have no organisation, no leaders and are a laughing stock and he sits next to the stubborn old goat and does nothing. WTF  :?

clearly bould has no influence.

Remember early in the season he'd bark some instructions from the touchline, now he sits there never speaking.

Rice and Wenger used to speak all the time!

Bould only there in writing.

I would imagine that he stands for it because if he doesn't he'd no longer have a job?

Must be happy to collect the dollar... anyone with any principle would walk out, it's doing nothing for his reputation.
