ASTON VILLA (H)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thankfully i'm not going. I used to love going over The Arsenal & would be gutted to miss a game, but these days I feel a little smug sense of moral victory when I don't give them my money. Especially when we play shit & lose.
That's why I haven't been for about 4 years and won't go again until Wneger fucks off.

I have a bad feeling about this one. I will go with a draw, but I am thinking that we are going to see a collapse between now and the end of the year (like we do practically every year).

A scrappy win by the odd goal...... the 3rd March will decide Wengers immediate future in my opinion. If the spuds turn us over then the board will have to listen to the fans and get rid there and then......... Hopefully! :barscarf:

This has 1-1 written all over it for me, worth a tenner I reckon.

Heaven knows.

Impossible to predict a win for us when we are so flaky.

but if we lose this game Wenger is in serious trouble

Agree with this and then we will hear all about the great mental strength the team has shown after a tough week  :banghead:

The one thing I will say is that if I was lambert then I would absolutely set my team to go at Arsenal right from the off - our team is fragile, there is widespread dissatisfaction amongst the fans and the manager is under severe pressure so an edgy start from us could leave us in a world of trouble. Of course it also shouldnt be ignored that benteke could pulverise our back 4

Hard one to call.

Two unpredictable sides. I think we're slightly more likely to win it, we always manage to win a few of these types of games coming off a patch of shit form, although not before sacrificing a couple of cup competitions of course.

the villans scum will get as physical as possible to try and further unsettle our already very shaky mental strength, whilst trying to take out our 3 most influential players (JW.TW and SC)...they will up the tempo from the off to try and take advantage of our 'heavy leggedness' after our mid-week game....and do all they can to ensure our handbrake is fully on....

We will either rip them to pieces or fuck up big time......I just hope JW doesn't get injured doing his usual heroics and leading the team forward seeing as our captain doesn't know how to.
