RVP right to go
Re: RVP right to go
so basically what we are saying is that Sol should have stayed at spuds?? cos he'd have a glorious amount of silverware to show off wouldnt he.RVP to united,a no brainer for him as much as it pains me to say it.

That about sums it up....DB10GOONER wrote:Whether he was right to go to them or not is only about what was right for him. This urge a few people have to somehow "respect" him for it I'll never understand. He's a JudasCunt end of.
To address some of the points about us and the filth; As said above, it's not just down to the players. It's the fact their manager is a winner at all costs and make decisions on a yearly, monthly, daily and minute by minute basis for the good of the footballing team. Our manager is too involved in the finances of the club and let's this overly influence his role as manager of a footballing team. Their manager has a grasp of strategy and tactics. Our manager simply doesn't. Their manager is a pragmatist. Our manager is a deluded dreamer. Their manager is a cúnt. Our manager is... becoming very unpopular.
United though are a very poor team, with a very poor defence. The main difference between them and the opposition isn't RVP (as we proved these last few years!) it is Ferguson. He has repeatedly kept them at the top when common sense said they would fail. Does anyone really think that Wenger (or any other Manager for that matter....) would be silly points clear at the top with the current United team? No, of course they wouldn't!

Stop letting it eat you up. FOOTBALL HAS NO LOYALTY.
Anybody think Sol Campbell was a Judas c*@? or did we all join in with the "Double, Double, Double" song because he proved that he was vindicated in leaving (even if it was the 4 by 2's).
Good luck to RVP. A great player for us (when fit - he didn't chose not to be, unlike Diaby etc) & now has the chance to win what his talent deserves.
As for everything else in life, football or not, I BLAME WENGER
Whether he was right or wrong to go I certainly would not be wishing him good luck.

Interesting how Diaby has apparently chosen not to be fit? And how his injury record is therefore his fault whereas van Judas' wasn't? Care to elaborate?
And yes, good luck van Judas and United

Why not wish him luck? I don't wish Utd luck (they don't need it), I just think it's sour grapes begrudging him success.
My point is that recent players have departed and are vilified by fans as mercenaries. But, as Cole, Clichy, Nasri, Cesc, Toure & RVP have proved, their decisions were justified on the basis they earn more & win/have won more.
We should be fucking destroying Wenger & the board for this, yet blame the players for acting on the same fears about our once great club that most on here share.
And I stand by my comment about Diaby 'choosing' to be injured.
Definitely a Louis Saha situation with him, only interested in playing when 150% fit. A lot of his injuries are between his ears. Pay as you play would be the only way to heal him....

Re: RVP right to go
Wishing him luck essentially hopes that he benefits United - presumably you were happy when he scored last minute goals against Southampton, City and West Ham and is single-handedly carrying them to the title? Whatever your views on him, I'd rather have sour grapes than cheer on United's best player just to be smug and try and prove that I hate Wenger the most.SouthCoastArsenal wrote:Why not wish him luck? So Diaby is diagnosed with these injuries after extensive medical examination, scans and physiotherapy. When he eventually returns to fitness he then invariably breaks down within games. At what point is he feigning or imagining these injuries out of interest?

Re: RVP right to go
Who's cheering Utd on? Not me.
Diaby, rosicky, wilshere. Medical problems? At first, no doubt.
Jack wants to play. So does rosicky. I don't believe diaby does.
If people had shown the same venom to Wenger & the board as we have to rvp & nasri, they wouldn't keep doing it.

Re: RVP right to go
You're saying you hope van Judas does well - which will obviously benefit United. Are you seeing the link now? If you hold no bitterness then that's fine but why would you ever want to see a key player prosper at that club?
And there's just nothing to substantiate your suggestion that Diaby feigns injuries so that he doesn't have to play. Our medical staff are open to some criticism but even if he wanted to pretend he's not fit how would he do so?
Also, why would he not want to play? He gets paid either way and I'm sure he'd rather be playing football than coming in and doing physio and recuperation work every day. It's just a ridiculous and unsubstantiated claim.
