Bizarre Thread......What is a cookie?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Americans say cooky as a corruption of the Dutch koekje, which means little cake.

Biscuit in French is more accurately a small cake. Many French people would call what we call biscuits, gateaux.

There, that should send spuddy completely over the edge. Here come the men in white coats. :D

I'm safe at the moment as they are a bit busy. There was a hit n run murder this morning at our local hospital and everyone is running around like idiots. I wonder of they'll have cookies with their tea at break times and what they'll consider them to be?
I wonder what wikipedia says a cookie is?
