Munich at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A performance that I hope has made people wake up to the fact that missing out on this fucking cup will be the best thing to happen to us. Just like Milan the year before, come half time in the first leg of the last 16 we're out of the competition and getting further and further behind the teams with a genuine shot of winning it....

...yet we're supposed to celebrate wildly when we scrape our way into it hence ensuring the annual humiliation in February when we play any of the top sides from Spain, Italy or Germany

I just don't understand why anyone gives a flying fuck about qualifying for the thing

Opportunity for sightseeing is a valid point.... !!

But if it's not worth being interested because we're not going to win it then doesn't that also apply to the Premier League....??

Yep, hence the league season being over by October and the whole season being over the minute we go out of both domestic cups
