I'm not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere on the forum but....
special mention for Cesc and Song in yesterday's El Classico defeat by Madrid. Both unused substitutes, sole contribution was to provide body warmth for others unused subs.
Nice one lads!
Rob.
Madrid vs. Barcelona - The Arsenal connection...

And RVP was on the bench for runaway leaders United. What you mean he started? Just shows you leave Arsenal and you win fuck all

You can hardly imply that Cesc is a flop, Roura had to change things for the match and so Cesc had to sit this out, he has been a barca regular this season. The match was a league dead rubber, but it showed barca still have issues to sort out, the pressing game is sorely missing, and they're feeling the pressure. Messi hasn't had a great few weeks either even though he scored against madrid.
Cesc will win the league this year and has been a regular for them this season.

Just like the Spuds with Sol when he won the double and became Invincible ?
Just like the Mancs when Tevez left and won a title ?
Just like Barca / Real when Figo left ?
Just like Celtic when Johnstone went to Rangers and won stuff ?
Any player who joins a close / bitter rival and is successfull will be subject to a little bit of bitterness from ex fans, I would suggest its quite natural in a sport where tribalism exists at its very core.
