friendless Galls

Not really. We are easily the least popular of the "big" clubs amongst the journalists, so should we be shocked by anything we read or hear?

Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions but if I had to guess its because of our lack of a strong English contingent in our squad. Can you honestly remember one single game where it hasn't been mentioned?

GALLAS DIDN'T SLAG THEO OFF IN THE PRESS!! HE WAS ASKED IF THEO COULD BECOME AS GOOD AS ROONEY AND HE REPLIED YES, BUT HE HAS A LOT OF WORK TO DO TO REACH THAT LEVEL.

EVEN WENGER HAS SAID AS MUCH AND HAD A GO AT THE PRESS YESTERDAY FOR CLAIMING THAT GALLAS COMMENTS WERE HAVING A POP AT THEO, WHEN THEY PATENTLY WEREN'T.

THE MEDIA HAVE GOT IT IN FOR US IN GENERAL AND GALLAS IN PARTICULAR SO WILL ABUSE THEIR POSITIONS TO CREATE CONTROVERSY AND STIR UP TROUBLE IF THEY CAN.

REMEMBER WHAT THEY JUST DID A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO - CLAIMNG THAT GALLAS SAID HE HAS NO MATES AT ARSENAL BUT PLENTY AT CHELSEA, WHEN HE WAS ACTUALLY ASKED IF HE WAS MATES WITH ANY ENGLISH PLAYERS AT ARSENAL. SEEING AS WE'VE ONLY GOT THEO, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFICULT TO CLAIM HE DIDN'T HAVE MORE ENGLISH PALS AT CHELSEA THAN HE CURRENTLY DOES AT ARSENAL!!

I don't think it is such an anti Arsenal thing but more kicking while we are down. When we sold Henry, they went in kicking but as we flew out of the blocks, the press turned on Liverpool. Now they turn back on us

I agree with IHH on the Walcott thing

The press are just scum. I have had quite a lot to do with them one way or another, and whenever I have seen anything in print, when I know the real story, I hardly recognise it. :roll: :evil:
