Cazorla will always be a better option on the pitchthan Ramsey, at least Cazorla has a position where he causes the most damage to the opposition. Ramsey's most effective position is at home watching the game or at a Fulham/Sunderlan. Sadly I think that's his level.

One of the worst things about the game was Vertonghen and Arshole Ekotto and how little they got worked.

Even scum fans think ekotto is a liability and not once did Walnutt work him. That £100k a week is looking wonderful now. t Dawson and Vertonghen could have had the cigars out yesterday with how much Walnutt and Giroud worked them. The only decent ball in the air and we get a goal.

As far as Savage's punditry is concerned, a 10yr old at primary school could have tactically outwitted us yesterday. Our tactics are nothing new, just watch any game from the last 7 seasons.

Wenger needs to go but would you trust the current board being able to replace with a suitable candidate? No one on the board has knowledge of football.

Bring back Dein.

Clash wrote:I see Hansen was ripping into our defence again last night. He has been doing this for a good few years on MOTD. But not once have I heard him link this criticism to the man in charge. Wenger never gets implicated.

In fact ask Hansen if Wenger’s lost the plot and should be sacked and he’d probably say something along the lines of ‘’you cant sack a man like Wenger after what he’s done for the club’’.

It does my head in :banghead:
Starting to think some of the non-gooner pundits have an agenda. If AW is kept in place, it masks the decline of their former clubs and also it can't hurt if we get worse and they replace us at the top table. Apart from John Cross who is an AW bum licker most gooner pundits and ex Arsenal players are saying the same things we are.

Those on here who are regular twiiter users why don't you tweet Cross and ask him why he doesn't just ask Wenger why won't he teach his teams to defend and if he replies he doe,s then ask why his defence have been conceding exactly the same type of goals for 7 years

Ramsey is like a Welsh James Milner, only not as good.

Actually think that's rude to Milner. I would take Milner over Ramsey or our very own Coquelin over Ramsey, a decent squad player being passed over for an inferior player.

Madness outside afterwards ; there are reasons why this game does not normally kick off at 4pm on a Sunday, and they were there for all to see.

I though the Police seemed a bit disorganised too ; could not decide whether to put in an escort or not, had a half hearted attempt on the corner by the ticket office, but the damage was already done.

Was overtaken on the High Road by a police van with a copper hanging out the door shouting 'OPERATION BUBBLE! OPERATION BUBBLE!' at his number who were walking alongside us.

Bizarre.

As for the game......bloody hell.

Sometimes the Ramsey bashing is embarrassing - slate the guy when he turns in a shit performance (and there has been more than a few) but ffs give the lad a chance when he has had a good game. We had 9 outfield players that were far worse than him yesterday - if you believe that doesn't mean that he played well then fair enough (even though I don't agree) but at least vent some of your anger at guys more deserving of it yesterday.

It was utter chaos. They had thousands of knuckle draggers wating for us as we came out of the stand chanting and trying to kick off and they just had no control. This game can be played at any time of the day at the Grove but those c**ts just do not know how to behave themselves so when it's at the swamp it has to be an early kick off.

From our side hate Greedy but chants of 'Let him die' as he was stretchered off didn't exactly paint us in a good light.

You'll find I have done earlier, mostly having a go at the defence and Giroud and Walnutt in particular. I just think he is not good enough and won't be and it would be in his and the club's interest if he moved on. It's not working.

What is he, a creative midfielder,a box-box midfielder,a right-sided player or a defensive player in the middle. He could within reason do the job Sidwell does for Fulham or a sub-Joe Allen but allthe roles mentioned there are better players young and old than him for us if AW would use them.
For the record I think Coquelin is a better player. Less of a goal threat but then Ramsey doesn't pull up any trees on that score. And Coquelin holds on to the ball better.

Oh do pipe down with your political correctness. Grass up your other fans by texting the number if you that bothered. That service made for people like you. Called old school terrace banter.

Was going to ignore this but no f**k it

Banter is taking the piss, having a laugh winding the other teams fans and players up

Banter is not hissing noises at Spurs fans, crap about munich to Manure fans, booing Ramsey for getting his leg broken, wishing Campbell was hung from a tree by scum fans.

I enjoy banter and have indulged in it especially where that greedy w***er is concerned but some things I draw the line at.

If me having some lines I don't cross suddenly makes me a PC grass then guilty as charged. BTW do you know what being politically correct actually means or have you just been reading the Daily Mail too long and anything that remotely involves not being completely out of order is now considered being PC ?

That's fair enough and I agree with most of it - sadly Ramsey will not now (in my opinion) reach the level for a club intent of challenging for the big prizes :( Where I am getting extremely frustrated is at those who seem to have a major hard at the thought of slating Ramsey purely cos he is playing - wilshire, who was expected to be our driving force yesterday, was absolutely dogshite and has escaped any real criticism. Don't get me wrong cos jack is our best player and cannot be expected to carry this team week after week but this is a thread about yesterday's game only and yesterday Ramsey played better than him.

Firstly I didn't mention any of the above about Munich etc and isn't in the same
Category
Banter as you say is to wind up the other fans and players. That song does and is hardly the worst one chanted yesterday. It's not be to taken literally. And is sung and has been sung most times a player goes down injured. Not as if he was actually dying.
Answering your question yes I do.
They sing about wenger being paedo, give as good as you get. And please no bollocks about no stooping to their level. It's football and terrace culture like that has sadly disappeared Over the years leaving a stale atmosphere at most games apart from a couple a season.
